got zapped between two lockdown bars via a ground-fault, and later inhaled a bit too much Krylon clear through not having proper ventilation. Trying to detox with a bit of Canadian Club. That's how it works, right?

In the wait of the last part to be put on, I have 95% finish the sharkey Job. And I can't wait to try it. The list was short but really dirty! Big clean up in and out of the playfield. It as been stripped out 2 coat of waxed and put back in, rubber needed to be changed, LED all over the place, some coil sleeves were broken, plastic needed to be glued and repair, missing post were replace, custom red coated the legs, some touch up on the cabinet and I have reheated some connection. Nothing big but I'm happy with the result and surely that I have bought it! All parts were from Pinball Medics and I can't thank them enough for the late visit at their shop.

Hahaha you notice. It is a really long story, but rapidly I am a illustrator/graphic designer and its kind of because of this comic that I do what I do today my first one, from the collection of my dad. No money value. I see comic book in a different way than most collector.

Rebuilt an MCR power supply, and installed it along with an NVRAM in my Tapper. Also swapped out the amp board for a spare. Finally got rid of all the hum and popping sounds!

Finally, after 32 years without playing , I have a working Black knight in the house! :D

This is the one for me. I know and understand that its not everyones cup o tea. Seems we have woodrail,EM, Dmd and every other type of preferenced collector here on MAACA and thats awesome, gives the hobby a dynamic and flavour. Not to mention it keeps pinball alive in different forms/eras.

THIS was the pin in Pembroke when I was that age, say 11/12. 1985.(visiting grandparents) At the corner store by myself, saw it, was drawn immed. captured really. Rest is history for me. The Black knight slayed me, Again and again. :FP:

Huge thanks to pinhead for getting it ready for christmas! :D
Shes a keeper so if anyone has minty spare plastics/parts. etc. I am all in.

Can anyone relate that certain pins aren't pins at all? They are a link to the past? more than my old car, more so than some old pictures? funny really............ :?

Cait001 came over and went through some basic maintenance with me as well as the quirks of my specific machine (a Stars she worked on). She brought some LEDs, so after she left, I swapped out a few bulbs...only to discover that created a lovely strobe effect! So I put back the incandescents. Fortunately Honey Badger left me a few extra bulbs when he sold me the machine, so I was still able to replace all the burnt-out ones. Although it seems one isn't actually burnt-out, but that will be a project for another day...
