Big Lebowski

Post by TwilightZone »

Alot of buzz and excitement for the new Big Lebowski pinball. Am I the only one who hasn't seen the movie? I don't even remember seeing the trailer for it when it was first out. Going to have to watch it and see how good it is.

Good movie. Go see it.

The pin looks good, but out of my price range.(Sure I can sell a few to get this, but nah)

Get with it Duane ;)

Lebowski is a cult classic!
The pin may not be for everybody but, as a fan of the Cohen bros and TBL, I'm super excited about the project.

Lucky for me there is no need to pre-order

On a side note;
I've heard that John Turturro has requested the rights to reprise his character, Jesus Quintana, for his own feature length film.

Watched it last night. My wife worked late. I knew she wouldn't be into it, so timing was perfect. It had some funny moments, but I don't get the huge love. Movie was good, not great.

I've tried to watch this movie many times but it has usually lost my attention after the first 15-20 mins. Don't feel bad TBL fanboys, I can't make it past the first 15-20 mins of LOTR either :lol:

Oh man, the movie is a home run on so many levels, and one you can watch like every 6 months of your life.

I, like most though, didn't really like it the first time. It is strange, as many say this and then really come to finding it one of the best movies ever made after watching it many time.

Try it again in a year, it really is classic for so many lines.

It does take a 2nd viewing I think... although I loved it right off the bat. I guess I'm just a bit warped... or knew what to expect from a Cohen Bros script.

Luckily, pinball success has historically not been linked to whether the film license it's based on is any good; ie, Shadow, Congo, and many others.

You should. The dialogue is superb. John Goodman's character is one of my favs. The music and imagination of this movie is just outstanding, but as I said before, it really does benefit from multiple viewings.

I think I may watch this again tonight actually.
