Extra sauce, pepperoni, sausage, onion, hot peppers, well done.

Pineapple has no place on a pizza.

Come on. You should be more open to trying new things. Maybe, you guys should stick to playing EMs - you know without those fancy DMDs. :-) :-)

I've tried it several times.. I'll eat it if I have to, but sweet fruit on a pizza does nothing for me. Why not throw some grapes and oranges on there while you're at it. ;)

Most veggies work for me.. heck, I've even had potatoes on a pizza (it was really good if you like roti)

Does anyone care about rare really? I could care less if there is 20,000 made or 100, if I like it, I want it, if I don't, I could care less about it.

I'm attracted to some rarer games. 'Rare' appeals to many people across most collectible hobbies. It's a novelty to own something that few have seen/played and potentially elevates the appeal of one's collection. Not unlike a museum. It's rewarding to be able to share these oddballs, imho.

But, you're right, rare doesn't necessarily mean good. However, in some cases, I think a few short run, decent pins might not have been very popular at the time or victims of bad timing/market changes/crashes. I think this is true for games such a Spectrum, Defender, Star Gazer and Spirit. Spectrum must have stunk up the arcade, bitd. I know I wouldn't have wanted to pay to play that game when you might have had Flash Gordon or EBD sitting beside it. Too much thinking and understanding. But I think it's great for me, now, in a home environment. Despite the impulsive novelty of owning Q*bert's Quest, I don't think it will staying here long after the next TOPL meeting I host.

Yes, I agree, gameplay *should* supersede rarity/manufacturer/theme. But opinions on gameplay are also super subjective. Some collectors don't really care how well these games play at all.

I stand corrected... The production numbers are not even good for trivia now! HA!
