It sounds like it's going to be very interesting. You're going to be the new local board man if this works.
Pins: Spirit, Centaur II, Af-Tor, Avatar, Embryon, Timeline, Baby Pac Man, SkyJump, Night Moves, Split Second
Gone: Space Station, Top Score, Flash Gordon, Solar Fire, Haunted House, Fire (x2), Vector, Bally Playboy, Tropic Isle, Beat the Clock, Blue-Chip, Disco, Punk!, Lightning, Time Fantasy, 8 Ball Deluxe LE, Double Dragon, Stellar Wars, Alien Poker, Panthera, Elektra, Blackout, Black Hole, Black Knight, Silverball Mania

Its better to have played and lost than never to have played at all.

Re: DEFYING OBSOLESCENCE... a pinball board quest.
Given the simplicity of this board (2 headers, 2 displays, 4 chips, and 3 discrete components) it might be easier just to breadboard it on a piece of perf-board with wires. That way you don't have to re-route traces to the displays, but simply run flying leads to take the place of traces.
