My son has this lego set, which would be a really cool topper ! ;-)

Co-op should help with the sting of tuition a bit!
That's the plan....

Apparently work terms in Bio-Med pay pretty well.
Fingers crossed !

At least when you visit him your seconds away from Che's Pinup Bar.
I had to look that up...

The word "Pinup" threw me in the wrong direction.

But now that I know it's a pinball place, yes, I'll have to check it out.

Thanks,

I need to burn some proms that are not supported by the programmers I already own.
Depending on how many you need, you can just send them to me,
and I'll program them for you.

I have a couple of 29B's (...unfortunately, none for sale ), and have a love-hate relationship with them. They are great to program all those obscure proms, but they are very temperamental. (...and big, ... and noisy... ) If you do find one, make sure you can test program a few proms. I have three 2...

Re: What are your kids doing during the Quarantine ... ?

This is a tough time for people with young kids we have a 7 and 5 y/o. My wife and I still have jobs (thankfully) but working remote all the while trying desperately to find moments in the day to educate our kids.... it’s very challenging!! I actually had a NABU system as home. ...

I have no idea how much it cost back then or how my Dad ever heard of it and got it to our house.

The article mentions that is was $90 to buy the console, plus $8/mo for the service.

Re: I didn't know this

I played in all the arcades they mentioned in the article. The Wizard, The GamesRoom, The Imperial, ... Bank St. was THE strip to be in the early 80's. I also remember playing Quest for Tires on my C-64, but I had no idea it was developed in Ottawa. I should fire-up my C-64 now and play a few games....

Two new changes I noticed ,

1- when you click on a topic, it brings you directly to first UN-READ message in that thread.

2- The "on-line" tag in the upper right corner of all posts by anyone on-line at the time.

Useful features.
