Re: quarantine projects

I had updated the computers of both my mame during the holidays, and started acquiring updated hardware to work on one of them. Actually waiting for better weather to work on the control panel. This week I made an addition to the lounge where the arcades are: there's a bar area now. There's other st...

Re: FS: parting out a Sega Monaco GP

Im in business in Ontario until at least next week, so there's really no rush. I already have a steering and shifter so what I'm really looking for would be a pedal. How's the mechanism? Maybe I could make up the pedal part for it or find a replacement? I'm curious about this semi-complete racing ma...

Re: FS: parting out a Sega Monaco GP

Hey sparky, you still have these parts laying around?
Especially the pedal assembly.

I'll be doing work on my cabinet soon and will use the opportunity to add more controls... I'd be interested in the pedal assembly. And maybe the footrest/kick guard if it's still in shape.

Re: For Sale : Various 19" CRT Monitors (G07, WG, etc..)

Glad you found takers for your monitors.

I was considering taking a pair to maybe have a working one to put in my Japanese cabinet. An LCD screen works, but its not the same. :(

Merci.

TheRealBobRoberts has them but it's a pain to arrange payment for us up north.

Tornado Terry on ebay ended up accepting shipping up north. Sadly the shipping costs more than the stick.

I ordered from Terry

I'd be interested in the spinners.
And a few leaf switches.

I am temporarily in Trenton but otherwise in Montréal. Can something be arranged?

Thanks for the help.
There's a seller on ebay that has the sticks but won't ship up north.

I think I'll just keep them as is... :(

Re: Lf replacement shaft & knob for happ competition

They sell the complete units, yes. Not replacement shafts. I asked them via email. They fo have replacement dust cover, or balltop shafts. My sticks are old-fashioned iL-builf Happ competition joystick dating before the suzo merger and I don't what to change the whole unit just to change stick colou...

Re: LF Atari Yoke (e.g. Star Wars Yoke)

Seems like lots of people gave a look, but nobody have one available.

This search is ongoing. I would like to have one by next summer to build the actual driver cabinet with it. No rush, but if you ever have one to spare, please let me know.

LF Atari Yoke (e.g. Star Wars Yoke)

Looking to add that to a driver MAME cab instead of the wheel.

Don't mind the condition, just need the hardware. If you have one laying out doing nothing, I might want to get it. Please PM me as my day job doesn't permit me to log on often.

Cheers and thank you.

Re: mame sux

If well done, it is just like the original arcade. The machine needs to be well designed, tough. For instance, the control panel must look like an original control panel, and changing game must not be natural. Unless of course what you want is something that LOOKS like it has multiple games in it, t...

I played Dave and Buster's in Austin, TX. Didn't know we had any in Canada, that was a new concept to me. Redemption machines are illegal in Quebec as far as I know. Sad, because it must be a great family time. In TX, the food was great and playing pool with coworkers afterward is great, I figure th...

Re: THE MAACA DAILY NEWS (aka What did you do today?)

In the last two days I added a good video card to the new computer of my old arcade, good enough so I can run ZiNC properly at last. Weird shit happens, 2 out of 3 of my coin acceptors decided to no longer accept my tokens. Had to tweak them over and over again, but I think its stable now. With the ...
