Re: FT / FS Stern Cheetah

Who changed the scoring text on the playfield. Only supposed to go up by 10,000 increments. Good eye. Bonus count was obviously re-done as the white lettering is way whiter than the remaining white lettering on the pf. Building up a bonus score from 100,000 up to…. 100,000 is a glaring mistake on w...

Re: New 2021 Alien SE and LE versions on the way from Pinball brothers

If you can @4eyes, would be great to get some closeup pics of those lighted up 3D plastics under the slinger and some in the middle, on the side. How are they affixed, include the regular plastics on top? They look mighty nice, I'm thinking something that could be modded for other pins as well! The...

Re: New 2021 Alien SE and LE versions on the way from Pinball brothers

Great to read, but it look like it's a lottery, many people from pinside have really deep problems. I have been active in that pinside thread since the beginning. I’m not seeing many “deep” problems. “Many” people like to bitch about minor problems (most of them not even owners). The software updat...

Not sure about regular sized but I had a widebody glass made locally (tempered of course) and it was about 60-65$ taxes in. The shop is literally a 60-90 second drive from my place. Maybe 2 mins if I get red lights lol. If you have one made just remember to ask for "no logo" because they ...

Re: Discussion... old-school 5V regulator, or new switching regulator?

I use the new switching regulators quite often now. I have installed them in my EBD and on several WPC driver boards with good results. You can’t get the LM323k anymore anyway. My feeling is it will be much less taxing on the rest of the involved components on the driver board and run much cooler.
