Re: quarantine projects

Since all 3 of my gainful employment occupations have completely ceased as of last Tuesday, the last one being the parts & service routine @ Alouette, I have also taken to quarantine projects like many other members. These projects are not necessarily pinball related, except maybe for finally pu...

Re: ROUTINE ON THE ROAD – REFUGE BY THE RIVERSIDE

Many routines have been broken of late. Gradually for some, and quite suddenly for others. The break from the routines became evident in Ontario yesterday, and today, it has become quite clear in Quebec as well, - big time. We are the non-essential businesses. :?: Indeed, the majority of our occupat...

Re: quarantine projects

Started evaluating this next job at work today and won't get to it again until the 13th of April if I am lucky, and I am. So this work project is technically quarantined. The wonderful thing is that I found one of the last meter readings on a small paper inside, and to my surprise the date matches f...

Re: Just wanted to let everyone know....

Yup, not much time left Chris, all non-essential businesses in Québec are to shut down tomorrow midnight, on my day off to boot. :o Guess I won't be missing those anytime soon, gonna be alot of days off in the next while. So, FYI I will be at my parts desk tomorrow by exception, - last call for Ger...

Re: Just wanted to let everyone know....

Thanks for the uplifting post RAB. I do need to put an order together. Until then, I should stay away from visiting. I heard there is a lot of army being shipped around by train. I hope I get my stuff together before total shut down. I look forward to a chat again when time permits. Yup, not much t...

Hate to be so obvious, but one may have to be in these times.

Gottlieb's "Rainbow" has a beautiful Roy Parker backglass. Use to have one many moons ago and had to let it go.

Re: ROUTINE ON THE ROAD – REFUGE BY THE RIVERSIDE

The routines will have to stop for many of us. There is no choice if we want to grow from this situation, do things differently and be brave in your resolve, no whining, no bitching, just do what is right for you and others as a collective, and don't take any sort of "cuff" from any of the...

I will look again tomorrow, thought I saw this spinner "thang" somewhere at Alouette.

As for soldering outdoors, I think it is the best. Light and air.

Nice work Brett.

Re: 2020 Hawkesbury Flea Fair

Can I just go and not bring any parts ?

I would like to put up a tent in the back yard of this "kitch" hideout on old highway 17 and fall asleep to Bob Dylan songs after I get tired of talking pinball.

Any objections ?

Always best to see these in person, so I will post easy pics on this thread to give everyone an idea. There are 6 of these SF2 playfields with lots of parts. The artwork is fine, no Bad Cata w...

There are 4 of those Geoff, come and pick the best one depending on what you are looking for as parts. As you know they have been differently messed with and abused. :FP:

Partially Populated Playfields (PPP)-ALL SOLD-(PPU)

I tried posting this before, but the responses were too much for me to handle at once (I only work here three days a week -i.e. at Alouette) so I took the post down. Tomorrow is the 29th. Tomorrow is a day that apparently only happens once ...

Return to the Routine - February 22nd, 2020 (numeric date - 022220) In my case, (and maybe in yours) it takes more effort to get out of a warm bed on winter mornings. Thanks, I’ll keep it in mind but I was able to find the following pricing so far: Playdium - 1000 x brass .984 tokens $209.95 + $27 shipping. eBay for about $80USD shipped but I don’t like them that much, they are silver not brass. Now I’d be happy to have 1000 Daniel Amusement tokens, that would b...

This is cool Ian, I saw that beast upstairs here and wondered if Gottlieb would ever do something like that. No, defintiely not. Re: WTB - Tokens size .984 500+ if possible

The pats dept. at Alouette (which I happen to man today) has stock on that size, .984 x.067 thick with a spiral design on one side and "No Cash Value" on the flipside jack.

Bags of 1000 shinny generic brass tokens at 350.00 each plus tax.

We are located in Montreal as well.

Yabo !
