Re: Alouette Amusement Gift Card Request

A few gift cards might motivate someone to buy a pin/project from Alouette as well not going to happen. MrHide is correct, - yes I know that is surprising, but stranger things have happened on MAACA. :D There are very few pinball projects worth spending any of your winter restore time on in...

Marital bliss may be more important than the quantity of pinballs you need to harbour.

But what the hell do I know ?

I have basically given up on trying to make compromises with others, I already have my hands full just dealing with myself.

Re: THE MAACA DAILY NEWS! Your daily read about YOU,the members!

What a difference an hour makes, huh ? I may well be a freak of nature, or maybe it is just that people around me are keeping to themselves concerning what they are feeling these days, hence causing me to think that I am different for babbling about circumstances making one feel generally weird. Yes happy Friday. In fact I will take happy any day when I can get it. But , not to take away from Mike's post and picture which I admit to being completely "dans le champ" about. In turn, I wish you all clairity and peace of mind, because it seems to be in low supply these days much like ...

Re: Unboxing of a NIB 1962 Bally Silver Sails

This is crazy stuff. I always wondered how they boxed bingo machines, they are so freakin' heavy I would have guessed two boxes on a skid, guess I was wrong. This is amazing to see. I have unboxed at least 100 machines working at Laniel and Starburst from 1998 to 2018, but never unboxed an EM, let a...

aujourd’hui Pindude est passé à l'arcade. Nous avons donc pu jaser, prendre une bière et jouer au Super Chexx et Liberty Bell. Toujours agréable. Re: Matching parts to members (And you know that notion, just crossed my mind)

Thanks Robert. Yes, in-line for sure. They look just like what I've got in Fathom. The coils are the main things but yes, the bracket would be a big help. If you have other parts for that assembly (coil stop, plunger, lever etc..) I'll take as much as you have. But, worst case, I may have old ones ...

Re: Matching parts to members (And you know that notion, just crossed my mind)

Sorry Robert. For the life of me I could not find the Flipper coil designation in the manual. They just give a part # for the entire assembly with no specifciation for the coil. It's this one (for the right one anyway) https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/ASE-1587-102 I've even combed thr...

Re: Matching parts to members (And you know that notion, just crossed my mind)

I forgot about this thread. I'm slowly getting my prototype Bally Heavy Metal Meltdown back to its former glory and one of the biggest hacks on this machine are the flipper mechs. The right one has been completely replaced with a gottlieb mech. Would love to get a right side Bally flipper mech and ...

More weirdness found upstairs of the parts dept. near the bingo machine graveyard. 20181019_080225.jpg Yes it is a ball arch gate assembly, I was just wondering if anyone knows for which game. Found more odd ball new old stock today. So even after 6 months of employment, I am still surprised. (That is a good thing to maintain later in life.) Plastic rod & ring ? No one in their right mind would use these, right ? LOL Must be a bunch of salesman samples I found today. 20181012_094627.j...

Josh,

Guy and I will be there by 9 to tear down and help in any way we can.

Forces of nature, not much we can do except keep going after the storm.

Anyone who had parts pre-orders to pick up, they will be available from 9 am to when tear down is complete.
