Re: TSPP:Reset and DMD problems.

I know this may be more common on Data Easts, and I am not too familiar with Whitestar boards, but could one of your fuse holders be in bad shape? Inspect them. If one of the voltages drops completely intermittently, that could be a place to look.

Re: TSPP:Reset and DMD problems.

Hi Cap! I looked at my manual yesterday after you referrred me to it. On the same page, there is also a pix of an error message ''open coin door'' and the meaning of it.You'll get that message at every power up if there is no batteries or dead ones in the machine.Checked them tonite, pulled them all ...

Re: TSPP:Reset and DMD problems.

Thanks Hoser! Yep,planning to take the board out for visual inspection. I had cracked solder board pins on my RFM a while ago and it was clearly visible under my giant magnifying lens. Thanks and good luck with your party this week end! André Thanks, and good luck finding the issue. If you get the ...

Re: TSPP:Reset and DMD problems.

For intermittent problems also check all pins on boards related to power to your DMD. With the machine off, see if you can wiggle any of them with your finger to check for cold solder joints. If you have a Digital Multi-Meter, try and check for continuity from the pins to DMD. Machines shake a lot w...

Re: Probleme avec DMD display

Like others have said, make sure to re-seat all connectors BOTH at the DMD and on the boards. Also, with the power off, check the connectors on the power board. Many Data Easts get seem to get cold solder joints on those boards. Wiggle the largest connector on the board (with wider pins), jiggle it ...

Re: Opgs is done son

Thanks Josh for continually staying positive. Everyone wanted this to happen, and stuck by you till your last announcement that it had to be canceled. That speaks volumes. You can also see the support of those who couldn't make it. Things happen for a reason some times, and OPGS will only come back ...

I'll make sure to say hi. I'm not familiar with your business. What are you demo'ing with these two machines? I'll be officially launching a service that helps you put your favorite music into your favorite machine. Mix, cut, edit to make an enjoyable experience that is personal to the owner of the...

Re: Need advice from TV technophiles... 65" TV

Another vote for the Sony 900E. It kicks ass. Do you ever game on it. Like video pinball? Pinball Arcade? Though not the fastest in the industy, the input lag when on game-mode is quite good. A majority of the TVs out there suck for input lag. Something to keep in mind. Also, the Sony is quite versa...

Re: Who wants my money?

I've had some nice machines offered up, but nothing to bite on yet.

My budget has taken a big hit with another addition.

I still thirst for a solid Solid state (1980-1989)

I have $1000-$3000 real dollars available for the right machine (depending on condition).

Who's got my next machine?

Re: Who wants my money?

Thanks, but not interested in a Jurrasic Park at the moment.

It's a great machine, but already played it a lot.

I'm looking for something I haven't played much. Do you have anything else?

Who wants my money?

Well, there is this ugly gaping hole on my small gameroom. Need to fill that spot. Got CASH and I'm ready to spend it! What do you have that is in good shape and I will think is cool? Hints: - Love early to mid solid states '80-'89. - Like challenging or fast machines. - Also open to some DMDs - A p...

FT Williams Star Trek Next Gen

Time to shake the lineup a little. Looking to try another machine. I have a beautiful Wiiliams STTNG Pinball to trade +/- for another great Pin. Cabinet, Playfield, and Translite are all at least a 9 out of 10! Everyone who sees it says it is the nicest STTNG they have played. Working 100% with no E...

Re: Canadian Star Wars Club

Hello Maaca friends,

Anyone with a Star Wars LE (or Premium), I would be very grateful if you could give me a PM.

If you live within 2 hours of Montreal, and would like a full case of your favorite beer, I can supply the beverages in exchange for just a couple of games on your Star Wars.

Cheers
