What is the best way to maintain the acrylic playfield on Elektra? The best for cleaning, waxing, removing scratches?

Re: Hawkesbury Flea Fair 2019 - Official Thread

THE HOLY LIST OF PINS This is the post that I will update for everyone bringing games. If your not sure what to bring, but guaranteed be bringing something just post +1 PIN and I'll add you to this list. I don't want to see more than 48 pins in the facility. Any more than that sounds like a Stephan...

Do remember to grab all the parts before you leave.

Keys, legs, ball, bolts

I've left excited or in a hurry and forgot something before.

I will launch the official thread very early Saturday morning.

It would be nice to lock this thread so things don't get confusing.

Haven't done it yet, but today looks like a good day to wax playfields listening to the Zepplin box set I got from Dave W.

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?

I don't really come to this thread often but probably should a bit more. It is massive and topics intertwine. As for today in the hobby, I played a couple games and could use a little time for playfield cleaning and adjustments. I'm content at the moment. I'll be on my way to Ottawa this morning to ...

Do not oil or grease anything in a pinball machine other than the spinner and shooter rod. You can do what you want to a Time Warp because that game sucks anyway. ;) lol

Buying You're First Pin - Do and Don't

It's a stab in the dark that people will see this thread before buying their first pin. I wanted to jot down things that they should keep in mind. Add on if you have any good pointers. Don't transport with the head up. Take the legs off as well. Don't think you're doing anybody any favours by painti...

Re: The Borderland Sparky pool... how long will he resist!!

He won't make it to Allentown. ...I never confirmed that I was going. ;) I am still on the fence about it. My last trip there 2 years ago was epic. I had the big van and it was a great time. Right down to the suicidal turkey in Ontario. LOL But now, I have no vehicle to my name. And going to Allent...

Re: Hawkesbury Flea Fair 2019 Early Notice

since this is for the collector community can we also spread it to pinside? I'm sure there are some NY state and Vermonters that would make the journey. Anyone is welcome to spread it to whomever they feel would benefit from a pinball related flea market and gathering. I'll make an official post in...

Re: Hawkesbury Flea Fair 2019 Early Notice

This event will be closed from the public (collectors only) as it was prior to Canada PinCon. How broad is your definition of collector? The games I own are in no way gamefloor-ready, so I would only be able to contribute financially. You don't need to bring anything and you don't need to pay anyth...

Re: Hawkesbury Flea Fair 2019 Early Notice

I guess it doesn't have to be a sanctioned event - why not a Maaca-only tourney to determine who will reign as the Hawkesbury Flea Fair 2019 champ? I 100% agree. Let's make it relax and fun. If anyone decides to have a tournament and run a tournament, I will try my best to accommodate them by modif...

Re: Hawkesbury Flea Fair 2019 Early Notice

Yeah, sounds like a nifty time! Hope I can make it. And possibly bring a game or two. Only one. ;) Keep it simple keep it fun. If you're selling machines then bring as many as you want. There's no fees. If you bring me your Spirit that would leave more room in your game room when you get home. Lol

Re: Hawkesbury Flea Fair 2019 Early Notice

The regulars at the bar will be there. 8 to 10 of them and any locals that might have intended on bowling.

I can quietly tell the locals, but I don't want it to turn into a Woodstock version of PinCon.

What needs to be done to make this work?
