Best Arcade Song Of All Time

You step back in time and walk into an arcade. There's a big fat juke box in the corner with 1 credit in it. It's full of all the best tunes.

What song do you play?

Go.........

I would buy it but when my mom visits she wouldn't be happy with me. She's religious and themes like that were the reasons I had to sneak into the arcades as a kid.

Re: Working on my Arcade

The carpet worked when it was a cinema room especially with four boys. Since I lowered the floor and took out the electrical console, the carpet is just laying there as a hodgepodge. It will be replaced when money permits with an arcade theme from the same manufacture. Looks good Chris, and you have...

Working on my Arcade

I decided to tear out my cinema room and build a gameroom in my basement. It's a work in progress and I have room for 2 more pins. The short walls at the entrance need to come out and the 619-1 will be recessed in the DVD cabinet on a 45 degree to the room. It might not be the best room but it's min...

Re: Interesting Thoughts

Back on track... It can be done with actuators, but I would think it easier to do that INSIDE the pin. Have the back of the playfield raise up. Can't lower the front as you have the shooter rod, unless going with a coil. But, interesting concept!!! Electronic screw jacks under the top back of the p...

Re: Interesting Thoughts

How about making a 3:1 scale video pinball machine using a 21" monitor? The legs can be made out of aluminum angle extrusion.

Interesting Thoughts

My 14-year-old son mentioned to me yesterday a cool idea for a pinball machine. As the game progresses it should get harder and increase the slope on the playfield automatically. The more I thought about it the more of a great idea it sounded. Anyone have any interesting ideas to have incorporated i...

I say three or more. Two is just a pair, one beside the other. While three of them in a line make a linear pattern, creating an alignment. Stephen Hawking That's deep. On a side note when does a pond become a lake? A stream become a river? A hill become a mountain? A rock become a planet (Pluto).

Re: Shipping from Australia

I'm walking away from the deal. 2 Gottlieb Punks. One for $1200 the other $1600. The bodies looked rough but ok backglasses had slight peeling. Playfield were very nice. Targets to be replaced. The killer was the boards needed to be reworked. Shipping was $1000 which wasn't so bad from Melbourne to ...

Re: Shipping from Australia

I'm going to look into DHL. I remember TNT once mentioned they would be able to ship any machine from port to port in the world for $600 US. That is a good comparison start and puts this probability into perspective. It can come the slow boat from China as far as I care as long as it's in this price...

It's spelled Ragret in the title as a joke from a movie.
