Re: WANTED - Gottlieb Countdown

Mbudman on this site has one. Look him up. He’s fixing it at the moment, but I’m sure he’d be selling when he’s done. He’s a very nice guy.

Re: interesting video on newer stern

I agree. In addition regarding newer Stern machines, short of being made from a cardboard box and disposable Chinese circuit boards, I find they are just pretty colours, lights, toys and deep upgradable rules. Whatever has to be done to keep the business going and make a profit. It has to be this way.

Re: What is your pinball highlight of 2020?

My good friend and brother Warlok helping me out and giving me my graill pin a Gottlieb Spirit. After seeing Sylvain in Ottawa’s avatar and knowing he is a well seasoned pinball veteran, I had to investigate the game. I loved everything about it. There’s so many different places to be on the playfie...

How's Your Pandemic Coming Along

Its a little funny really. As unfortunate as the whole scenario has been, I was looking forward to some time off and chilling with the family. This I did and enjoyed it to the fullest. The odd thing was I expected to focus more on tuning my collection and working on some garage pins over the summer....

Re: $100 Toaster

Well, I bought a new toaster. It was $69.95 at Walmart. Time advances and so does technology. This one has a defrost feature. I’m sitting at a hotel room in Windsor Ontario so it’s a business write off for me. ;) If anyone is concerned, my old toaster is alive and well sitting at home ready and wait...

Panthera - Working Project $850

1980 Gottlieb Panthera for sale $850. This game is a working project. The boards have been gone through and are good. Displays are good. Cabinet is rough and backglass is "rough". All of the important artwork is in decent shape. The art that is screwed is of solid colours and easy enough for touchin...

Re: There are no more pinball machines on "the rock" LoL

I think all it boils down to is the writer trying to fill a block on a page for a newspaper to get a paycheck, gold star and a pat on the back. It’s not necessarily reality that sells.

He’s new to the website. I recommended him to join here to find some help. It might take him a bit of time to figure out how a forum operates.

He has some knowledge and skill and problems with:

Space invaders
Fireball classic
Black knight

Re: ROUTINE ON THE ROAD – REFUGE BY THE RIVERSIDE

Speaking of Renaissance, this is the waterfront view five minutes down the road from my hotel. The GM Renaissance Center. I’m starting week five of eight in Windsor Ontario. It’s odd seeing the town so torpid and empty. Detroit is so close you can touch it, but you can’t. You can see the people in c...

Thanks Rob. I wasn’t prepared to go back to twisting wrenches yet, but I can chill for a while when that gig is up. I was watching The Pursuit of Happyness the night before the call and I felt horribly obligated. Lol

Re: Enough already....

It’s quite simple math and psychology. If we have close to 3500 members most being happy and content, but there’s one person that decides to go very hardcore wierd and extreme in a bizarre way to attack somebody I figure we can rest easily understanding where the true problem is. ;)
