Re: 500 gigs of AWESOMENESS!!!
Still got my MAME setup available for copy for anyone that is interested. Also got a huge dump of emulators and roms for most console and handheld systems (NES, SNES, N64, GB, GBC, Dreamcast, PS1, PC Engine, Atari systems, Sega systems, etc). Is another 355GB of stuff. Together it comes out to ~600G...

Would also be interesting in a steering wheel/peddle setup for the original xbox as well if someone has a set sitting around.

Re: POLL: What to do with a Nintendo dual upright?
Good to hear. I see a lot of people get 4 player machines but they never get played by more than 1 person at a time. And actually end up selling them because they take up so much room and never really get played. Glad to see that some 4 player machines still get played. Pretty much describes my sit...

Re: POLL: What to do with a Nintendo dual upright?
2 player 2 screen MAME would work well. You could fit four people in there, but what is the chance you will have four people playing at the same time? Very rarely. I have 3 kids, and they have friends. LOL I have a 4-player Simpsons and it gets played EVERY night by all 3 at the same time. Good to ...

FOUND: Modded Original Xbox
Like the title states I am looking for a modded original xbox. There are a ton of these for sale in the Toronto area on kijiji but they very rarely ever come up for sale up here in the Ottawa area for some reason. I need it modded so it can either play burned discs or I am able to copy the discs con...

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?
Roadblasters works great, other than the monitor doing weird stuff after the game has been running for a while. I am fairly sure it needs a cap kit. Since I couldn't find anyone in Canada selling cap kits for the WG7000 series of monitor I just went ahead and ordered most of the caps from digi-key....

Finally getting around to working on the Roadblasters cockpit since I have both it and the Monaco GP cockpit that need work. rb_cockpit1.jpg rb_cockpit2.JPG Roadblasters works great, other than the monitor doing weird stuff after the game has been running for a while. Darn, just needs a neon he says...lol! A working Tron.. I'll just pretend I never saw your post and will go on with my quest for both the pin and the arcade! :-) Neon is fixed. LOL Was just loose in it's socket. Have you ever seen a grown man cry? Lol Yes. Dropping a fresh poutine is a life scaring...

Looks like the truck had some decent weight in the back for good traction.
I will always be amazed what comes in/out of that garage.

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?
Setup the new cockpit to work on it. At least this one is made to come apart into two pieces to move it. monacogp.jpg Will try and fix the problems it has. If it doesn't work out, I will likely empty out the cab and put another game in it or mame it. Will see. This game has way too many boards/chips...

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?
Organized the work benches. Was working on a monitor board and kept knocking things over. So I decided enough was enough and moved around enough stuff so that I could work on it properly. Took a while, but I put everything away where it should go. Should be good for a couple days at least before it ...

Re: Bench tools you can't live without
My beer holder. LOL Second? My Taito Multi-Checker. I have completed the schematics for it. It has a pattern generator for checking monitors. It produces 14 different voltages so I can test a lot of things. And I have built 17 harnesses for it, and counting. I even test pinball boards on it. I sold...

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?
I use to play the shit out of this when I was a kid! Loved the cockpit version! Congrats on finding one! Thanks. Been looking for years and never thought I would find one again. Started taking the Roadblasters apart today to do maintenance and look at the issues with the machine. Took out all the b...

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?
I finally got one of these again. roadblasters.jpg I regretted selling my other one years ago, and was very happy when I found this one for sale. Has a couple issues (monitor cuts out after a while, some loud static in music and missing the curved pieces), but it does work. Seller was a really nice ...

I PM'd Battlezoneman about this but I haven't gotten a response. Anyone else in Ottawa has a copy of this setup and willing to share? Sorry, I haven't been too active on the site in a while. Still have my copy and will make copies for the big price of free. Just have to get me a drive and I will ma...

CDN Suppliers of decals/art Defender Cab
Hello all. Been a while since I was active. Since it has been a while, a lot of the info I knew is pretty out of date. Looking to restore a Defender cab I got a while back but I was wondering if there are any Canadian suppliers of art/decals for the machines? I was first thinking of doing the origin...
