Re: Just 1 pinball from the last 2 years ?

I would go IMDN over JP. IMDN has all of the songs and the artwork from the band. JP is a good dinosaur game, but not a good Jurassic Park game.

Re: Pet peeve on classifieds, kijiji and whatever... advice

What bugs me most is when people list a game on Kijiji and they say they’re open to offers and will take the best offer based on a few pics. What kind of reasonable offer can be expected from a handful of pics, without being able to inspect the game in person or more importantly being able to test ...

Yup, right up there with "e-mail me for price", or "prix sur demande".
I have never contacted a seller that doesn't list a price; I just figure that he's fishing
If they can't be bothered to list a price or post photos, I can't be bothered to call them

Re: Canadian Public Pinball Tracker

As life starts to open up slowly to a "new normal" please keep updating the Canadian Public Pinball Tracker as to which locations were able to weather the storm, changes to location games, etc. With what everyone has been through these last several months, this will be something to take your mind of...

Re: High Speed Weak Right Flippers

I've isolated the issue to the lower right coil. I swapped it out for the old beat up coil and the flipper strength returned, but it sticks so it needs to go.

This was a brand new coil; how can I test to see what is wrong with it.

Re: High Speed Weak Right Flippers

In the manual I've taken the following snapshots; they both say that power wires go to the banded side of the diode. If that's the case it looks like all three flippers are wired incorrectly. I have the following questions: - if they're wired backwards shouldn't I have blown something by now? - if t...

That did it. I had a 50/50 chance of installing the holder correctly and, or course, I did it backwards. Settings are now saved!

Exactly where should they go? There are three positive and three negative through holes on the board, but only one positive and one negative wire for the holder.

High Speed Weak Right Flippers

I've completely rebuilt the flippers on my High Speed; new coils, new EOS switches, new diodes, etc. The left flipper is nice and strong and you can easily rip the spinners. However, the right flippers are quite weak; the upper right can barely get the ball up the ramp and you have to hit the shot p...

High Speed Remote Battery Holder Won't Retain Settings

My High Speed won't retain the settings even after I've installed a remote battery holder. The on-board holder fell apart when I removed it so I thought that was the culprit but after the remote battery holder install I'm still having the same issues. Seems the remote holder installation is pretty f...

High Speed Socket Spring Missing

The center socket of the three-socket bracket in the photo is missing the spring that holds the bulb in place under pressure so it doesn't move around. As a result, the bulb never lights. Can I replace the single socket or do I need to replace the three-socket bracket? If the latter, does anyone kno...
