Re: THE MAACA DAILY NEWS! Your daily read about YOU,the members!
Guys I think I'm done for now. It's been a long haul, and a lot of fun. However I realize even over the past year even with covid lockdowns, I've barely touched my machines. I have 2 in torn down state of repair that have been this way for years now. Just too many other things on the go in life righ...

Re: How's Your Pandemic Coming Along
Pandemic....I was off for 5 months and never even touched a pinball. I still enjoy reading everyone's stories here, but have been too busy with other hobbies. I sold a bunch of machines, 2 more projects to finish up and sell. Maybe I'll just move them as is.

I've been happy with my cheapo Creality Ender. Did a few minor upgrades but it has survived my kids abusing it for a year now. I'd probably go with a larger one next time but stick with Creality.

Polish it they say....Yeah baby, I've got 40 hours into that already and it could use another 40. We are doing a full RV conversion. Looking for a vintage propane stove if anyone has any leads? And some vintage theatre wall sconces.

Here ya go! She's 21,000 lbs of aluminum and steel. Main body is built like an airplane (aluminum) with ribs and stringers riveted together. Re: $100 Toaster
I've recently purchased a 1948 GMC Silversides bus. It is amazing the engineering on that thing and how many parts were designed to be rebuilt. It's 70 years old, probably has 3 million miles on it, but I was able to spend about a week working on it after sitting for 20 years and drove it 2000 km to...

I don't know why but this followed me home today. It is sitting in quarantine in the van for a few days before it comes in. I said no more projects & I just moved a couch back into the games room. Now the damn couch has to move again.

Re: Buying and selling during COVID-19
Some times I like to screw with those low baller wanted ads trying to buy machines for nothing and string them along for awhile...... :) "My husband had several pinball machines in our basement when he passed way. I have no idea what they are worth, but I think the names are Twilight Zone, Adams Fam...

Re: Buying and selling during COVID-19
In the coming months anything listed on Kijiji is going to be in a buyers market. People without work are going to get more desperate and list their "valuables" to try and stay afloat. It is sad, but in the end a pinball is only worth what the market will pay at the time. I have a number of items li...

Oh boy. Sounds like a I missed a good time. I've been f'ing stumped by this stupid Force II GI lighting short. I'm about ready to start desoldering every socket till I find it. Hobbies. Oh boy - I played pinball today, drove my German imported LT31 camper to the airport, took a freshly restored Pipe...

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?
So I told myself not 2 hours before I am not going to get into another pinball restoration. I'm done. I even said that when someone was picking up Alien Poker just before I got into this. I've had a Force II sitting on the back burner for years...Long enough I don't even remember where I bought it f...

Nice scores. I only managed to just break 3,000,000 on mine before i sold it. It was bastardy fast with the new PF polished and waxed
Took 6 months for some of the wax to wear off and become playable. Wish I'd kept it, one of the ones I regret selling.

I love fixing old school boards and keeping machines original, however when it comes to power supplies I just replace with modern stuff.
