Re: "God of Game" Jamma 900 in 1 Game Board

They don't work on standard res 15khz. Not even 640x480vga or 600x800 svga. Only good for LCD screens basically or a high resolution PC CRT. Not good for arcade monitors at all.

Re: Anyone has a CRT tester/rejuvenator ?

I also suspect it's something else. What did it look like before the cap kit? Have you double checked all your caps? As mentioned above check the flyback? What about swapping chassis from one tube to the other and see if the problem follows? Check the pots on the remote board? At any rate testing th...

Re: CRT Repair

Hello. Your best bet is to take some pictures of the Mon (electronic boards connected to tube) so it can be identified. From there it will be easy to see if replacements are avail or if it can be repaired by people here.

Re: Screen trouble street fighter II

Hello. That issue is not an issue with the monitor itself. Aka monitor works fine. It is an issue at the board level.

- check voltage going to boards
- reseat any sockets chips
- if you have a Rom burner verify the ROMs

After that I'm not sure but it might get you started.

Re: How much should i pay for a tftc pin in very good condition all around.

That's the problem with tales from the crypt, a lot of us that have one don't care to sell it. Especially not for what people think they should be able to buy them for. If I look at what I could buy to replace my tftc if I sold it for $3k-3.5k all the games are crap in comparison. The only negative ...

Re: PC to Arcade monitor, best way?

ArcadeVGA is not the way you want to go. That's been well surpassed now. It's outdated, it's expensive, and it doesn't have as much functionality as other cards. The best option is to use a crtemudriver compatible card and run groovymame. It's currently the best way to get accurate resolution, refre...

Re: TSPP - to LED or not to LED

I got my game with incandescent bulbs. I didn't like them too much, they were too dim. I put in LED lights without the OCD board but the ghosting was far too much. This is a game that requires you to know exactly what is lit up at all times so I couldn't have lights on that I was questioning ever. I...
