very cool find!
Playfield layout also seems to be borrowed from Gottlieb's 1975 Fast Draw https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=828& ... 258&zoom=1

Re: Stern Heavy Metal ?

Not to mention the poor build quality with parts needing to be replaced out of the box more frequently. I work hard for my pinball dollars and will probably have to spend them elsewhere now as I am losing trust in Stern. I say this now until TMNT comes out and calls for my wallet. I will try to res...

Re: Stern Heavy Metal ?

the main selling point of the magazine was the amazing artists that got featured, so I have no idea why they can't tout the artist here. I used to love hunting for Moebius issues As for the pin, yawn. Wake me when TMNT from Stern and GnR from JJP get shown. Also apparently Cactus Canyon remake getti...

sweet, will be great to have all the mechanical machines in one spot! I love Targ but the free-play crowd might as well be executioners for old arcades.

Niche Collections

Welcome to a new series highlighting niche collections in the coin-op world! I have a broad collection that peaks into a number of obscure corners of coin-op, but some people have zeroed in on specific areas and built fascinating collections around them. The history of these machines is preserved t...

sweet!
Most people won't know this machine, but it uses physical cars on belts, combined with a 3d hologram projection of your car, to create a driving experience!

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?

Roadshow is a prime example of a game in need of a software re-write. Such a marvel of a playfield, so many gimmicks, ramps, diverters, lanes, etc. I truly believe with the right coder it could be even better than Twilight Zone, themes not withstanding.

Re: ROUTINE ON THE ROAD – REFUGE BY THE RIVERSIDE

Scott said that he wanted to be in Toronto by noon, so I did a quick calculation and shuttered at the result. This meant getting to his ride (i.e. The 5 ton truck) by 5 AM. This also entail getting up from slumber around 4:15 AM and just “go out there” after coffee and cereal. This didn’t seem to p...

Re: FS: Black Knight 2000

In terms of prices, they are still climbing in the US. Look at Pinside. Prices for C titles continue to go up. I think part of the issue is the quality of pins coming out. Both Stern and JJP are having quite a few issues out of the gate. Makes people start considering other alternatives, I know I h...
