Re: Your Pinball Status 2019

I've been pretty focused on doing pinhistory research and such. My main goal for 2019 is to do up the pinhistory booth at OPGS bigger and better than even last year's impressive (alas, tornado-attacked) setup. - get all of the machines I've got now into decent working order - probably sell Sure Shot...

Anyone in ottawa do fibreglass work?

I have a small piece of masonite from an old 1930s machine that needs to be reattached.
Anyone here in Ottawa set up to work with fibreglass?
Would pay or trade for your services. Should be a rather small job, see pic.
It would not be load bearing or shoved, it just helps keep the underboard aligned.

That black and white art with the colour inserts looks gorgeous.
Not since Centaur!!!

I don't know if the mini playfield is worth it. Never played the AC/DC mini playfield, and only did Family Guy/Shrek a few times ever.

But at least the upper playfields all have the same features.

What about we rent a continuous row of rooms at Stephanie's then set up a pinball machine or two in each? :)

Re: Canada PinCon 2019 Statement

PINCON at the arena In Hawkesbury last summer was maybe my greatest day of the year. I found out about it the day before, and I went by myself from Montreal. I would literally pay +50$ next time for the treat that was playing all those amazing games, and being in that environment. And that's really...

Re: LF: Volley schematics

I think many of us in this hobby, given that it's frickin pinball, would have no qualms shelling out $20 for a high quality DRM-free PDF when needed. Some might pirate, sure, but lots of people will still buy it for convenience. Every TV show and movie is up on thepiratebay, yet people still love th...

Re: LF: Volley schematics

it's 20$, c'mon and pay the man to have a nice full size copy. I get it, I really do, but I do almost all of my diagnosing at the computer. I'd happily pay $20 for a nicely scanned PDF tbf. As an aside: last time I bought a rerprint schematic I found it really wore away at the fold seams. If I end ...

I am often on the hunt for 1930s games and can keep an eye out for you. Just this title or any others from that era?
