Re: Welcome to MAACA! Introduce yourself!
Hi everyone! I'm from Germany. and one of the strangely very very few women who indulge in this hobby. I like maze games (LADY BUG, PENGO, AMIDAR) & shooters (BOSCONIAN, GALAXIAN, GALAXIAN PART X. SPACE RAIDER, GALAGA, GALAGA 88, MOON PATROL. FANTASY ZONE etc) & ARKANOID & TETRIS the most. Best ...

Re: FS: prewar pinball machines, pachinko, antique billiards toys
WOW! Interresting stuff Cait, I read everything in your post...... but I really don't collect or even want more than 2 games in my game room, I'm even seriously thinking of selling one of the 2 to keep only one game. Interresting because those are oddballs and they take up much less room than a ...

It's a real shame they didn't pursue it further!
I've been archiving Koziarz's stuff on my blog, I'll have to add the new stuff since he moved from Mastodon to Bluesky.

FS: prewar pinball machines, pachinko, antique billiards toys
Spring cleaning in November! I have a number of wonderful and weird things to sell to make room for incoming weird and wonderful things. :) Three pre-war pinball machines, a 1960s single shot pachinko machine, and two antique Bagatelle billiards games from before world War II. 1932 Cloverleaf by ...

It looks so damn good. I really love how they integrated the shotgun in two ways.

Re: carving rebound rubbers?
I have to confess I do not know about the saws that both of you mention.
And does anyone have an idea of a rubber that could work for replacing the smartball one? 20mm tall is taller than a rebound rubber... (needs to also be 19mm diameter circle)

Re: carving rebound rubbers?
The first rubbers I need to replace are for my smartball machines. I'm only now realizing a rebound rubber might be too short. For the smartball games I need a 20mm tall rubber with a 18-19mm diameter. Any idea what I could use there? 20241104_102630.jpg (rebound rubber on left, the original ...

carving rebound rubbers?
An EM rebound rubber has the thickness and bounciness I need for a few applications, but it's the wrong shape. I've tried carving them before, but with poor results.
Anyone have tips on how to slice and reshape rebound rubbers for other replacements?

Re: Metallica remastered
I think it looks beautiful. At least the LE does. I don't understand the Premium aesthetics. The colours don't jive for me.
The most exciting aspect of this for me is that it makes me think games like Tron, LOTR, and TSPP might get Remastered editions too.
