New project... COMMANDOS (WTF??)

Greetings from Milwaukee... again. LOL I have time to kill from the hotel, so... here goes. 20 years. I have been tinkering in this hobby for that long. Yes, I do know that some have for much longer. LOL... but my point is that due to me doing it that long, very little excites me much. I have had 50...

Re: ROUTINE ON THE ROAD – REFUGE BY THE RIVERSIDE

The characters we write and sometimes talk about to others can only be a partial, and certainly always an incomplete representation of the person. I don't think that any of us, even the simplest of beings for that matter can be completely defined let alone understood beyond doubt. Well said. Hell, ...

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?

Jesus, it is a damn miracle I am getting anything done. I did a 12.5hr round trip Monday just to fix something on for work that took 2 minutes. And yesterday all day writing an email explaining shit to people at work, and doing other people's work because they are too lazy to do so. 5-year plan... 1...

Quite the contrary for me. The game I hate the most. I remember playing a ton of Atari games that had such quick action and responsive controls... and then you play this choppy, slow crappy game with lousy control response. It never felt like an Atari game. And the video explains why.

Re: FS: parting out a Sega Monaco GP

Im in business in Ontario until at least next week, so there's really no rush. I already have a steering and shifter so what I'm really looking for would be a pedal. How's the mechanism? Maybe I could make up the pedal part for it or find a replacement? I'm curious about this semi-complete racing m...

Re: THE MAACA DAILY NEWS! Your daily read about YOU,the members!

9152kms... That's how much I drove in the month of January for work. You make resolutions every new year, only to break them. I promised myself that I would slow down a bit. I have had my new work truck for 2.5 months and it has 18000kms on it. Poor thing. LOL I write this and I am still not close t...

Re: FS: parting out a Sega Monaco GP

Hey sparky, you still have these parts laying around? Especially the pedal assembly. I'll be doing work on my cabinet soon and will use the opportunity to add more controls... I'd be interested in the pedal assembly. And maybe the footrest/kick guard if it's still in shape. I have the pedal mechani...

Re: Indiana Jones (Williams) - Pinsound issues

WOW. Even though the PINSOUND issues were fixed last week, the night before the Superbowl, I played another game on it and once again, after the ball went into the PATH OF ADVENTURE area and I used the left flipper to move it a little, the left flipper GAVE OUT again and now doesn't work anymore. I...
