I feel the same... then I just go play a game. Me and the game. That's it.

I played 12 games on Totem last night. It felt good... DAMN good. No fixing. Just playing. As the pingods intended.

WTF happened here? All my posts have been deleted? Is it wrong to provide a book value as a baseline to a seller who can't figure on a price? Lo and behold there is a price there now..guess I had nothing to with that. I thought posting prices was I'm the forum rules? Classic MAACA. Will you just ca...

Re: Thunderbirds Pinball Complete

Well, I know for a fact that this theme was very popular here in Canada, especially in Québec, translated in French to "Sentinelles de l'Air". It would be very recognizable here. Keep up with the updates! And I do also like the little things like the Gottlieb widebody-style prop rod. That ...

It turns on just like normal, but it doesn't retain any high score data, nor any settings that you may have changed such as sound settings, replay values and such. It reverts to default settings every time.

I also think that anytime the playfield will want to scratch the cab due to playfield alignment, this will tear up.

I'm down to 2 pins. Who knows what will happen by May, but I don't see myself buying anything for a while. If anyone wanna do it in May, let me know. I have 22 set up. But it depends if I finish my basement first. I may be able to do it. Maybe. You need to call à friend that knows floors to help yo...

Re: Interesting Thoughts

Back on track... It can be done with actuators, but I would think it easier to do that INSIDE the pin. Have the back of the playfield raise up. Can't lower the front as you have the shooter rod, unless going with a coil.

But, interesting concept!!!

I want to take a few minutes to thank Slacker for making an old dream come true. I now have an awesome Gottlieb totem in da house!! Yeah, I know... Totem doesn't always get some love, but in my early days into the hobby, I played Visual Pinball on a nightly basis (hmm... I will have to get back into...

Re: Thunderbirds Pinball Complete

Hello Guys, Thanks for the kind words of support. It has been a very challenging four years to make it to this point. I started this project from an empty factory space and now I'm pleased to be able to say we are starting to build our first pinball machines. I would like to add a few details about...

Re: Thunderbirds Pinball Complete

I know they're being assembled in China and things are done differently there, but that shot of the worker airbrushing a component with what is likely an isocyanate paint while wearing only a fiber mask kinda punched me right in the gut. Mike mentioned the China government is dead serious about the...

Pure candy, Rob. And 2018 will be exceptional. We are alive. And we need to stop and think sometimes. On a recent post, I used the Mr.Rogers line "it's a beautiful neighborhood". An interesting story about the man is when he won an Emmy for his show and general contribution in the late 90'...

Re: Won't you be my neighbor...

There is actually another house for sale a bit higher up on the street, but it has been for sale for a while, and with reason. The house is set so far back on the lot that there is literally no backyard. The reason is that the lot to the left of it was owned by the same owner and she used that as he...
