Re: Opgs is done son

Even though it didn't happen, I'd still like to purchase a poster for this years show. I've already reached out to P1AG for quotes on some NIB pins. I know I can't afford them right now, but the more I wait the less I seem to be afford the pins from the 90's era as well. I may as well start hassling...

I posted on FB that I would start a GoFundMe page with Josh's permission. I didn't want to go over his head and start something without hearing from him first.

Yeah, it doesn't look good. I'm optimistic, but base on reports it sounds like Nepean is going to be without power for a while.

Do you mean shared or sold? I am thinking the latter. No one does anything for free.

So the survey is legit? So if I want to sell myself out for a $15USD vanilla card I'll actually get one?

That makes sense. So L.E.K. seems to be real enough but this survey seems sketchy. Did IFPA get hacked or just sell our information to the lowest bidder?

Re: Need advice from TV technophiles... 65" TV

My friend works for Harris, here's the big secret on 4K : the industry just upgrade everything to 1080P....no one is upgrading camera/broadcast equipment to 4K anytime soon! Exactly. Go for 4K or UHD resolution, don't settle for 1080. Everything is going 4K or higher, and you don't want to limit yo...

Re: Need advice from TV technophiles... 65" TV

I have a 1080p 47" LG LCD from 2008. I paid over $2K for it back then. The same TV today is probably $600-$800. It weights a ton. Maybe they used through-hole components. I don't see any problem with the blacks. I work as a broadcast technician. My company sells video production switch equipmen...
