I was having some trouble recently putting 0.062" pins onto 22AWG wire in my Bram Stoker's Dracula. The crimp didn't seem tight enough. I measured the diameter of the wire, it is actually smaller than the 18-22AWG crimp spec sheet allows. I bought some 22-28AWG 0.062" pins and they work --...

Avoid lubricating anything unless the manual tells you to. Usually only metal / metal joints may need a light oil.

Success was reported with the hand squeezer!

The dies that came with mine were for solid rivets I had to buy ones for semi-tubular somewhere else.

Cleaned tumbled and polished a bunch of BSD hardware. Tumbled the yellow colour right off the 3/8" sheet metal screws oops. Bought striped wire, sockets, translite trim and blood red flippers sinking even more money into this project! Waiting for a nice day to naphtha the playfield and see what...
