Re: Looking for a CRT tech.

Are you comfortable discharging the monitor and removing the chassis?
There are a couple of very good monitor techs in the GTA. You can send them the chassis for repair/refurb.

Good luck

Download and read the schematics.
They contain a picture of the PCBs and list each part very clearly.

Once identified, I would check digikey.ca

I've been there many times with my daughter and we always had a great time. I've still got game cards lying around with a balance of them too ;)

I don't like seeing these places close

Re: The history of Sega's time traveler the world's first holographic arcade game

Great documentary!
It was an innovative game for its time.

There is one of these in a Hawkesbury warehouse that I was interested in, but the seller wants big money for it, and it's a heavy restoration project. Parts for it are hard to come by.

Re: Oh. My. God.

I have 8 Arcade 1ups in my basement. Would love full sized arcade machines but the wife hates them and I am Pinball first. The 1ups are the perfect compromise. They fill in the spots where Pinball machines don't fit nicely. Even modded one of them to fit a mini Bar Fridge Into it. 20200624_125235.j...

Re: POLL: What to do with a Nintendo dual upright?

Good to hear. I see a lot of people get 4 player machines but they never get played by more than 1 person at a time. And actually end up selling them because they take up so much room and never really get played. Glad to see that some 4 player machines still get played. Pretty much describes my sit...
