Re: Pet peeve on classifieds, kijiji and whatever... advice

This annoys me as well. My biggest Kijiji pet peeve is when you click on an image it opens the image in a separate screen even smaller that the one you clicked on. Am I doing something incorrectly? Why would the zoom in image be smaller than the original? It's driving me batty! Used to drive me nut...

Re: WAY OT : Well Water Issues

Yeah, as cdnpinballer noted you may need the right type of anode. If the tank was working well originally, going back to the OEM anode might be a good option. Anode life expectancy would I assume vary depending on the water chemistry, I've never replaced one. I know the new tanks don't last as long ...

Re: WAY OT : Well Water Issues

The bacteria can move around throughout the system because the hot and cold mix together in fixtures etc., backflows https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backflow can occur. If raising the temperature in the tank doesn't solve the problem I'd suggest shocking the system again and running all the fixtures u...

Re: WAY OT : Well Water Issues

Canada safety Council says ..."To minimize bacteria contamination, water must be stored at 60 C or higher. For example, temperatures under 50 C may increase the risk of Legionnaires’ disease, a form of pneumonia, due to bacterial growth in the tank. That disease is caused by Legionella bacteria, whi...

Charles Bell posters are quite affordable (https://www.magnoliabox.com/products/pi ... aago001089). There was a printer's proof on Kijiji and eBay for $1,000 and posters are available for much less online. Have you seen the book? (http://www.crowriver.com/books/bk012.htm)

Re: LF: cut lexan

I've cut thin Lexan before using standard wood working equipment. It's "easy" and I can do it if shapes are square and you don't need a finished edge. (I could sand the edges but I've never tried using a torch on them.) I used to deal with Canus Plastic (http://canusplastics.com/) but I see they are...

list is whacked, dmd vs a 1979 pin? on same list. not the only reason imho its whacked. just one pinheads opinion. Yeah, ratings are tough. Very subjective and for older pins, sample sizes may be really small. OTOH it's a starting point for helping you compare unfamiliar titles and players comments...

Re: negative experience with sarcasm , bulling , rude attacking behaviour

In my experience, I have found that ones critiques of others is often more a revelation of their own character than that of whom or to whom they speak. .... 8-) Exactly! There's room for discussion and disagreement, indeed it's often a chance to learn. When disagreement degenerates into a personal ...

It's getting weirder, apparently MAACA pins are extremely over priced according to http://www.kijiji.ca/v-electronics/otta ... nFlag=true

KIJIJI should start policing their ads more.

You can get factory schematics, owner's manual and other parts from http://www.pbresource.com/. Another US supplier I've used is http://www.marcospecialties.com/. Re: Spirit of 76 Startup problem

When the ball kicks out to start the game it passes over a switch before it gets to the shooter lane. It's similar to the rollover switches on the game (A, B, D, E, etc.). This switch is visible on the underside of the playfield, it's hidden under the apron from above. Try closing it manually from b...

Maybe it's the trough switch not sensing that the ball has been sent to the shooter lane.

That makes sense! They were trying to fit all the elements of the design and stock components into the standard size playfield.
