I paid *much* more for my meteor and playfield. Great deal on a great game. Someone jump on this.

Re: Buh-bye Paypal...

I thought you could commercially legally sell for $30000 per year and not have to collect taxes. They also limit it to $7500 per quarter so you have to be careful with your invoice dates. IANAA, but my understanding is that the $30K is only the point when you have to start billing HST to customers....

Re: Stern Lightning Bracket Dimensions

So the plate used to affix everything looks to be the same size as a switch stack cover. Don't know if that helps.

Re: Contemplating Canada PinCon 2018

I loved it and had a great time this summer. That said, bringing my entire basement was a mistake, and my arcade sat disassembled in my living room for weeks before the OPGS. It took too much out of me. If I did it again it would be one game, not three.

Re: Stern Lightning Bracket Dimensions

If nobody around here has one, drive over to your friends at Beau's with a set of callipers and measure theirs.

Unless that machine is yours.

If this old Stern apron is in good shape, I could really use it. I'm bringing a Meteor back to life and this is a perfect match. If it's all rusted out though... well... it's just as good where it is.

Tim Hunkin did an excellent TV series years ago for the BBC called "The Secret Life of Machines" - it's a must watch if you're interested in this sort of thing and how machines work.

Pinhead was right and I was wrong!

It is a power thermistor, made by UEI, p/n 20SP010.

Nope, they're in the power circuit so it's most likely that they are caps or MOVs or some other sort of filter component

In lamp test, does extra ball light? Could be a couple of things but I'd start there first
