Any update on an SDS? What actually *is* this product?
I just had the "cancer talk" with my students this evening. Things got heavy.

Re: Looking for Board Repair: Moon Patrol
Moon Patrol is one of my favourites! Would be good to save it from the trash heap. I don't have a test harness for this game; if I did I'd totally take it on. The sound board schematics are readily available. I just don't have the room in the basement for another game right now. Hrm... maybe in the ...

Here's all of the wiring on the bottom of my playfield. You should be able to zoom in pretty far. If you need more detail/extra angles I can grab them for you.
Don't underestimate the value of the schematic.

I don’t own a brake but I know too many tinbangers to do a crap job of it.
No worries, I got in touch with the folks at avo-pinball and worked out international shipping.

WTB: Classic Bally neck vent grille, 50mm x 247mm
Hi! Do you have one of these? P-2754-y? There are three variants: One is 5cm tall and the other is 6cm. I need the 5cm one for a standard width table, 247mm. Nobody seems to have them in stock and the only reproducer is in Germany and does not easily ship to Canada. If you have a busted old cabinet ...

Re: What did you do today in the hobby?
Folded up Tag Team to bring it to work this week. Set up Mata Hari in place in order to begin work. Took a quick few pages of notes on problems, ordered repair/restoration parts needed, ordered stencils. I'll probably tackle refinishing the cab first while it's nice out. If I need to put everything ...

I'd burn the machine. Who knows what other unspeakable horrors they've committed?Honey Badger wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 4:15 am The knocker in a pinball machine is one of my favourite sounds to hear in the world. Drives me absolutely nuts when I pick up a game from someone and there is no knocker or they have it turned off/disabled.

Don't forget Atari games that didn't have one at all. I had to retrofit one into my Middle Earth, because it wasn't the same without it!

100mA SB 3AG fuses aren't super common in pinball. What game and fuse number is this for?

There was a bally mata hari blocking it. Once I got into it, I just had to find the ball and put it in the right place.

We didn't have room for a tree this year, as this has been sitting non-functional in the living room. Got it running just in time for the family to come over:

Re: LF Meteor drop targets
Well, you're not buying them from a pinball parts supplier. Shapeways is a prototyping company, and a pinball community member uploaded a 3d model. Option B is buying a knife and a block of maple and hand carving them.
