Re: Funspot NH - how is it?

Absolutely loved it when we went many years back -- even though our parked rental got nailed and I had to do a claim.

They have TONS of classic video games and a large selection of solid state pinball machines. Well worth the trip.

Re: AP’s Barry O’s BBQ Challenge

Build quality is a inconsistent and no way even close to JJP. For example, Galactic Tank Force has a 3D printed ship. Badly printed, looks incredibly bad for a serious pinball manufacturer. GTF is just a strange game with odd choices. The game, while fun, sounds like hell. The annoying laser (?) sou...

Re: AP’s Barry O’s BBQ Challenge

Only issue is the theme is so wacky that it just won't sell -- even if priced less than Stern Pro. I don't understand what American Pinball is thinking. Do they want to go out of business? They certainly seem to consistently produce games that make most collectors shake their heads. It's a very basi...

Re: LF : Pinball or MAME Cab for Youth Center (Ottawa/Stitsville)

Might be better to get a 60 in 1 or other xxx in 1 jamma cab set up as MAME may require work should there be any technical issues w/ the computer or software. Also they are plentiful.

Just curious, the theme does nothing for me but the game will likely be nice.
I don't know anyone that is excited about the theme. Really odd choice to me and I like his 70s stuff.

I might not phrase it that way LOL....but generally they are the exact same game as the Premium version with difference artwork, powder coating and have a limited run.

Re: Stern LE’s may take a price hit

People buying LEs don't appear to give a crap. Stern already pulled this stunt with Elvira 40th. That was released well after the LE. It was a ton more money than the LE and the only differences were purple powder coat, purple cabinet art, and a sticker on the translite. People with money love to sp...

Re: need advice - over 10 years out of the hobby

You keep mentioning Pinbot. For bang for your buck, I'd recommend Jack*bot instead. Very similar layout, better rules, yes it has a DMD, yes its at the top of your spending limit, but you get so much more in terms of gameplay. Yes, Jack*bot may be better, but it is a DMD; doesn't this mean that it ...

SOLD KISS Stern Pinball HUO

The pinball is Home Use Only (HUO), never been in an arcade, and I'm the second owner. Looks brand new and plays perfectly. Includes shaker motor. I also recently shopped it and changed all rubbers to red silicon. This is a game that doesn't come up often and is in demand for KISS collectors. I love...

Re: Multimorphic P3: First impressions

Ohhh nice ! So, please elaborate, how fun are the new ones ? Drained seems a little shallow ? Is there a twist to it ? Is it cheaper ? The price is the same as Weird Al. Drained is the only module that bundles all the outer cabinet decals in every unit. Surprisingly, Drained has a very high BOM. It...

Looking for 31" wood legs for a 1958 Bally All Star Bowler. I need a complete set of 4. I've been told that Bally Bingo pinball legs will work. Picture provided for reference (not my game).

Robotron 2084 is simply the best. Simple to understand. Hard to master.

Also still enjoy Ms. Pacman and Centipede.

I've never seen less excitement on local sites (MAACA and Pin Rev) than Bond. I don't think the license is bad. Game looks good. Art is so so.

I think collectors are finally tired of price increases. I know I'm not really excited for anything new at the moment.

I am partial to John Youssi and Python HUGE fan of Youssi. He's my favourite artist by a long shot. TZ is my absolute favourite translite. So much detail in that one. He created the art for so many great looking games including White Water, Whirlwind, Funhouse, Jokerz!, Road Show, Medieval Madness,...

Pooling and chipping on brand new games. JJP's response is that you have to buy a new playfield for $500 US. Absolute BS.

I've watch video of Toy Story last night and the game looks and sounds fantastic. It's not what I expected, but I know it will flow beautifully. The real issue is the price increase. That alone puts me in the "not buying" category. Even if it was an absolutely stacked JJP game like Pirates...

Was sorry to miss it. With guests coming in June, I had to get some things done around the house. Sounds like it was a huge success. Everyone I have chatted with said it was fantastic.

Congrats on a great event. Hope to be there next year.
