I'll pay less for a pin if I have to spend two days ripping out all the shitty walmart toys from the playfield.
Don’t forget about having to rip out the “tastefully” colored LEDs in the GI. I just can’t stand colored GI. I play pinball. I don’t stare at it like artwork.

Re: mods

Official Stern toppers do add to game play or are at least interactive with the game. Those you can re-sell for almost full value(sometimes more) separately if a buyer doesn’t want to pay more for the game with the topper. Other toppers like Tilt Toppers that are nothing more than a plexi, decals, a...

Re: Prices of pins

I think that the rediculous prices that were paid at the auction from that museum that closed a few weeks ago are already starting to make there affect on the market, I was looking for a Twilight Zone to eventually buy one day......, on Pinside they were ranging from 7500$ USD to 10000$ USD before ...

Most mods don’t add shit for resale value. Some do add but usually not nearly as much as what it cost.

C’est comme le gun dans STTNG. Il n’y a pas vraiment de calibration en tant que tel. Peut etre si tu explique le problème ou pourrait t’aider.

HUO Medieval Madness are a bargain now compared to the Royal Edition MMRs! Just insane prices on those in the secondary market.
I honestly haven’t been tracking. Good to know for when I am ready to trade! Not even close to that point yet though.

Has been for some time. This isn’t a new thing lol.

As long as ppl are willingly paying stupid prices they will just continue to increase.

Re: Star Wars Pinball machine

It may be difficult to get rid of it later on. Most pinheads don’t consider it a “real” pinball and wouldn’t be interested. I am sure google can help you out with the differences between that and the “real” thing. Here's an article that covers a few of the differences: https://www.pinballnews.com/si...

don't fuck around and get the real thing: https://classicplayfields.com/shop/pinball-playfields/shuttleplayfield/ anything else is a mistake. But it’s no longer the real thing. They do not silkscreen anymore. They print. From what I’ve read online the CPR playfields now chip like new games too. Ink...

Even the Pro looks great. I think I've read the LEs are already gone? Amazing..! Stern LEs have been selling out even before the machines are officially announced, it seems Used to be worth it. The extras were worth more than the $2000CAD price difference. Not anymore. -Real backglass -Stern Shaker...

While we all gawk at the MAME setups that have a sprawling control panel with a myriad of inputs, I was thinking it'd be great to see one of those MAME control panels but with all semi-translucent buttons, or at least rings around the controls, so that when you start a game the controls that are ac...

It's fascinating how the theme is really interesting to some ppl and others not at all. I am in the "not interested" group. Game looks super fun but I'm not familiar with the theme/classic godzilla stuff. Prices now have made it a resounding NO! for me unless the theme is something I and my gf can r...

Also important to troubleshoot beyond just the 2 lamps you mentioned. The problem could be someplace else on that same row or column of the matrix. You mentioned #1 and #6 on the top lanes? I look at the lamp matrix and that shows me both on column 3. Since I think Sys 9 has no single lamp test, sta...

Are there any lighting mods installed? I had that issue on a game once. The light matrix was all f#$%ed up because someone added a LED strip to a matrix insert but without the diode.

Re: Restored TFTC for trade or sell

You should add the sale price The rules of the classifieds section does state that you must list an asking price. When you don't put a price many assume it's an indication you are wanting way above market value so they won't even bother asking about it. Of course if you ARE asking way above market ...

Comet issues. The wires on the lane change have been replaced and the lanes now change, however the issue with both the lights for the 1 and 6 remains. Going down either the 1 or the 6 lights both lamps. The game only recognizes the lane that was triggered via the switch and not both. This is evide...

First game I got to Crypt Jam and I have only ever done it twice before! It must have missed me. Played 2 more ga...

The best shot is when the ball goes all around the flipper without touching it and comes back up the middle. Whaaaat?
Hell yes.

For some reason the one I played as a teen had banana flippers as well.

It could have easily been the model 3. What does that orange button do? ;)
