Re: Bladrunner sequel

I would be curious to know who will do the music for the film. Vangelis did the original music score and does anyone know if he is even still in the business?

Bladrunner sequel

For those of you that enjoy good science fiction, good news - Ridley Scott is working on a sequel to Bladrunner !
In my view one of the best sci fi movies ever.

Re: WTP (Want to play)

I would love to try all of the European and Australian pins that have not quite made it over to our shores. The few that I have tried feel different, look different and are really hard to find so as a collector I say go for it. The art that captures my interest the most is that Nautilus pin from Pla...

Re: CoinTaker

I love the CoinTaker LEDs ! The variety and colours really add a nice dimension to the pins and spices them up. The folks at CoinTaker are also top notch and I am glad to see that they are here supporting this community. This is why I continue to buy their products.

Would someone be willing to pick up a pin in Allentown ?

It looks like I will not be able to make it out to Allentown this year because of work so I would like to ask if someone in the GTA or even southern Ontario is going down and may have room to pick up a pin? I will give you money up front for the pin, taxes for the border and of course extra $$ for t...

Re: Which is the better Michigan show - Zoo or MPE?

So I arrived here in the Detroit area for this pinball show and went to the hotel to book a room and you know what? They were sold out! I could not believe it? I asked was this because of the show? and the manager said yes - Bruce Springsteen is playing tonight and almost all of the hotels are sold ...

Re: Which is the better Michigan show - Zoo or MPE?

I would love to see Clay's collection!

I am going to try and make it out to the MPE this w/e but one day I will visit the Zoo simply because I have never been there and have to see it for myself. I mean if I could go to Vegas, New York or Kalamazoo - it would be no contest! The Zoo ! Well maybe...

Re: Ohio show

I agree that the people at the show were fun to talk to and talking pins is sometimes as much fun as playing them. John Dayhuff and Dennis Nordman were great to chat with so I completely agree with your thoughts about the folks at the show. No one hogged a pin but my beef was not about the people, i...

Re: Ohio show

I have now had the opportunity to go to several shows over the years and yes Allentown is very good, Chicago I definitely enjoyed, Michigan is very nice, Buffalo was ok but the Ohio show finishes dead last.

I guess everyone now understands my view of the Ohio show.

Amen

Re: Ohio show

Rottendog was there and they were selling a few items but I was under the impression that they only sell through distributors now. Perhaps a special arrangement was made, who knows? If you needed any Neon, there was even a small display as well. Jersey Jack was there giving a talk about his game and...

Re: Ohio show

Below are some pictures of the games from the show. The projects to the less common pins. There was a WICO pin that is called Af-Tor and was the only SS pin that they made. Rather unique and I wanted to check it out but it was being sold, yup you guessed it - as a project. I don't think that parts w...

Ohio show

Over the weekend I went to the Ohio pinball show in Cuyahoga Falls which is just outside of Akron and about 1/2 hour from Cleveland. Kind of like the suburbs but seemed a bit isolated. I want to say some good things about this show but I must admit I am hard pressed to do so. The location for the sh...

Davde and Buster's

I went to Dave and Buster's a little while ago with my kids and had a wonderful time and wanted to share some thoughts with everyone about the games because I have noticed some interesting changes. It is March break so maybe this will interest some of you. First of all it is a great place to just ha...

Re: SB auction results

Did you notice how many people were there? The cars were lined up down the street and the parking lots were full. I have never seen it so busy before. Even when they called to start the auction, the gamesroom was still full and normally I could get on a machine and play for a bit. Not this time. I g...

8 Ball Deluxe auction ?

So I saw an ad on Kijiji this afternoon for an 8 Ball Deluxe that some of you may have seen already posted at $475. I was skeptical and yet curious at the same time so I called and left a message. Within the hour after the posting went up I got a call saying that the price was now up to $625 without...

Re: Nice Centaur on ebay AUCTION END TABAR*****

wow, incredible... so that means i have $4200 + machine. is it me or price are going up lately? I think that if you look at kijiji and eBay, ALL prices are escalating. Some definite gouging going on from what I see. Seeing a $500 pin for sale at $2500 is outrageous. Seller may even drop his price b...
