Reported. Pretty childish. I wish I had the time to think of these clever things and actually post them. I could use that time to cure cancer.

Re: Oh. My. God.

I wish they would have created these using titles that haven't already been done. Use some of the virtual tables that have been created. I think that would have hit home with the likes of us pinball fanatics then.

Re: How do I unstick a star rollover?

[EDIT] So after you use too much pressure and break off two of the legs under the insert... How do you remove the insert? Does anyone have one of those deep clamps that can be used for installing a new insert in the middle of a playfield? I had this problem before. Old inserts are often brittle if ...

How do I unstick a star rollover?

I replaced the star rollovers in my Gottlieb Surfer. The old ones were broken, and dirty. To get the old ones out I cut the shafts off. I cleaned the top of the inserts and installed the new ones. The news ones went in fine, but they are getting stuck in the down position. I should have cleaned the ...

Re: How do I take an EM lockbar receiver apart

Thanks for the advice. I thought that it might rust up again quickly too, so I ended up waxing everything. I didn't want to use any oils. I used the XXX Carnuba Wax that Adriano use to use on his projects. Hopefully this will help.

Thanks Rob. Are you using a Dremel with a brass wirewheel? I bought a bunch of these but I find the brass wires fly out even on low speeds. How does it come apart?

How do I take an EM lockbar receiver apart

Hi guys, I'm doing some clean-up on my Surfer. The lockbar receiver was a rusty, corroded, ooze-filled mess. I removed it from the pin and I've been using my dremel to sand it down. The one side is coming out great, but the lockbar fin is in the way on the other side. Are these things riveted togeth...

Wow! thanks cait!

I've been told it uses Canadian quarters. It has a payout hopper cabinet underneath it. Powers on, but it’s been acting up so they are not touching it.

Re: Seeburg Slot Machine Price Check

- It's an EM
- Sort of working (I am guessing there are some repairs that will be necessary)
- Keys are included

I'll ask the owner the rest of these questions and re-post here when I have the rest of the answers.

Seeburg Slot Machine Price Check

Hi everyone,

A buddy of mine is trying to sell a few items and clean out his Dad's place. Does anyone know what the value of one of these is? I'm trying to get more info, but right now all I have is a picture to go on.

Re: MAACA members recognition of expertise

I don't dislike the idea, but most of us in the hobby that have been around for a few years are familiar with who only play pins, who fix pins, who restores them, and who does full restores. Many of us will gladly chime in on repairs and provide advice on specific fixes, or answer any questions you ...

I'm torn....having witnessed firsthand [and somehow not catching it by sheer luck] how fast it brought a lot of big strong men to their knees, I am scared of it, however folks are also scared of losing all that they have worked for their entire lives. I know lived can't be replaced, but shattered l...

This annoys me as well. My biggest Kijiji pet peeve is when you click on an image it opens the image in a separate screen even smaller that the one you clicked on. Am I doing something incorrectly? Why would the zoom in image be smaller than the original? It's driving me batty! Used to drive me nut...
