Williams system 3 sound

Have kind of an odd problem, the sound works when the game s powered on, but after several sounds are played, it quits, usually rebooting the game brings back the sound, but not always , sometimes takes several reboots, the board was redone last year and was working fine, Any ideas?

Thanks.

Re: widebody pins

I have owned several over the years, including, genie, spiderman, hulk(loaner), F2K, Big Game, Devils Dare x2,and probably few more. genie was a big hit here, with the kids, spiderman and hulk I found slow, the others were middle of the road, with the exception of Devils Dare, love to play this pin....

williams fire ball eject

so I get a message that a buddys fire is acting up, ejects all 3 balls on start up, and keeps ejecting as they drain. i told him to inspect the ball trough switch, but he says its fine, and he did a switch self test and it shows its ok. Any ideas on what else would cause this, im too far away to go ...

BG RESTO makes repros, but arent the best at responding to emails, and with the current exchange and shipping, pretty pricey..

Re: Gorgar problem

actually was wondering about that magnet, it weakly grabs the ball initially, but barely holds it for a second, then it lets go. My other gorgars, 2 lol, both really grabbed the ball hard and held it firm.

Gorgar problem

Hey all, been working away at my Gorgar project, slowly coming along, but have hit a new snag. When you shoot the ball into the bonus/extra ball kicker hole, the game "speaks me got you',(which it should not) and the snake pit lights like it has the ball there, so basically its activating the snake ...

Re: Wanted blackout or solar fire

I have bought a few from the USA and had them shipped both to my home and the US address I have set up, who will actually forward to a border town near my home from the US for a 25$ fee. I have never had an issue with breakage. Places like PP and CPR know what they are doing . I am waiting on a new ...

Thank you for your input !!, your vast knowledge is always appreciated. The 40 pin interconnect had been replaced previously, the boards had all been redone by Mindstorm at some point, a few years back, there was a fair bit of corrosion in this machine, must have been stored somewhere damp. Re: Gorgar credits

I tried that and it continued, I removed the bottom left side connector and it stops the knocker, but credits still roll, all brown wires. the driver board works fine in the blackout, I also put the gorgar driver into blackout and its ok, must be a short, somewhere. Thanks, Ill keep looking.
