Re: holy crap, new pinball is bumping!

Glad I'm not the only one thinking like you, Sparky. I read the post last night and didn't reply. I think it's awesome that so many pinball machines are in the works; however I miss the days when I could genuinely be excited about a new game confident I could own it someday. I remember playing LOTR ...

Re: OPL March26@TwilightZone

It was great having everyone over. I had a great time, as well. Wasn't surprised the old 70s pachinko got alot of play between games. Best $50 I spent :-) It and TZ were the only causalities yesterday. Pachinko is back up and running. I'll take a look at TZ tonight. It's only the flipper, so should ...

I can vouch for Guy's ST. It's in HUO condition. Absolutely mint.

Good luck on the trade.

Re: What is your definition of "Restored"?

In the particular case of my Seawitch, I paid for what I was expecting would be a solid Stage 0 restoration (knowing the restorer well, I certainly wasn't expecting a Stage 1!). This was complicated by the game being operated by the restorer for 3 months (this was with my permission, but not with a...

Re: Comet LED Bulbs - anyone used this one?

I have tried the bullet bulbs. I tried them on my F-14 in the diverter. The head of the bulb is longer which is why I wanted to try them. I wanted to place the original bulb condom over the LED bulbs I installed in the diverter. The bulbs were the proper length for the silicon caps but they were sk...

Comet LED Bulbs - anyone used this one?

Looking at the bulbs offered by Comet. I've used and am extremely happy with this one. Bargain priced and I like the brightness. http://www.cometpinball.com/product-p/100-pack-1retroled.htm I notice they have another that is very reasonably priced, but they say it is the same brightness as an incand...

Re: Pinball investment questioning ?

I've been collecting since 1998 and never thought what are now considered the "SS classics" would go up to the insane prices I am seeing now. I'm impressed with your foresight. Especially Sterns. When I started you could pick them up super cheap and I didn't see that changing. Even back th...

Re: Heighway Pinball Alien full playfield picture

I would like to state the controversial opinion that this game, in fact, looks absolutely incredible. Agree 100%. Looks fantastic. Been around long enough to know, though.....give it a few months and see how things go. Way out of my price point anyhow, but, if I had the cash, I'd wait and see how t...

Re: Heighway Pinball Alien full playfield picture

I asked the US distributor ... 7495USD . .... Seems Nitro is selling cheaper than US distributors. Exchange rate is 1.335 as of right now. 1.335 x $7,495 USD = $10,005.83 plus tax (that you would pay crossing the border). From Nitro's site, the price of Aliens Standard is $8,995 CDN. Even with ship...

In a home environment, set the game up as you enjoy them. I have extra balls enabled on all my games and have it set so the score required to get extra ball increases. I enjoy it that way and so do my guests ☺️

Re: So close to Valinor

Congrats, sounds like you had a great game ! I wouldn't mind owning one eventually but unfortunately, can't really afford 45 minutes games currently (kids are growing, there is hope ! :FP: ) Thinking about it further, it might have been closer to 35 minutes. I chatted with my son before I started p...
