How much are you willing to spend? I had this guy make me a Meteor repro when I was unsatisfied with one that I bought from CPR: http://www.coos.net/bingo_e/

He did a fantastic job. He normally does bingos but he’ll do anything.

What was the price of the Meteor BG? I've been looking to replace my faded original, but as you say the CPR one has issues..

440 Euro... which is a lot of money, but a one-off reproduction with mirroring isn't cheap. Honestly, even the one from Coos isn't perfect as the printing and the mirror aren't perfectly aligned, but it still looks much better than the CPR product.

Their new printer seems to have serious registration issues; almost like badly misaligned inkjet print heads on both their backglasses and their plastics. I also dislike how I've been spoken to by a couple of their folks, and I see how they respond really viciously to people with valid concerns. To top it off, one of my original Meteor plastics went missing in the round trip between my house and their graphics guy, but he claimed it was impossible that he could have possibly lost it. I had another from a backup set that I scanned for them, but even though I did, they seemed very preoccupied that the cost of the incomplete run and unhappy customers was my fault... and I'm someone who gave my time and parts for free so that other people could restore a game that I really love.

So yeah... I want to like them but I'm just at the point where I'd rather pay extra money to other vendors rather than deal with them. I know that overall they're an asset to the hobby but they just haven't been great for me.
