Things I found on Kijiji

[Sparky 2.0]

This is a somewhat rare machine. Not worth a ton (I've seen fully restored/working ones for sale in the US for less than $800), but I am sure it is still collectable. It is also technically an arcade/pin hybrid.

I would have likely picked it up just for the fun of getting it working, but it is just too far away. That and it looks to have been sitting in a garage for a long time. These things are also a royal pain in the ass if they aren't working due to all the boards and interfaces (just ask Sparky about his Discs of Tron). If you pick it up, you better know what you are getting into. In the picture there seems to be no glass over the playfield, so expect a lot of crap to have gotten in the machine.

I would ABSOLUTELY pick this up but I have no way to get that beast to my place before the Holidays... Funny, as I am usually the one hauling pins for people, but that won't fit in my company vehicle (Equinox).

I'd buy it if it could be stored by a fellow member, but I won't ask that from anyone. We all have limited space.

If someone could get this closer to Ottawa (at least east of Toronto), I could probably pick it up (I have a truck) and store it for Sparky here in the area until he could come and get it.

Hasn't been much on kijiji worth posting lately. Seen 1-2 decent deals, but it seems the vast majority of arcade AD's are people trying to sell "custom" MAME cabs at ridiculous prices. Or people who think because an arcade game is 25 years old, that is must be "very rare" and worth $1,500+

I guess that is the nature of the beast.

Here are a few anyways.

Astro Wars cocktail arcade machine for a somewhat decent price (Guelph): Link Dead

Pole Position upright cab that is empty (missing PCB, monitor, etc), but the cab seems to be in very good shape (Brantford): Link Dead

Shooter arcade machine (use to be Area51) that is missing the monitor and PCB, but comes with the guns. Good price for a somewhat empty cab with light guns (London): Link Dead

Crystal Castle cocktail. Seems to be original and in good shape. Very good price IMO. I would buy it if I was closer (Brantford): Link Dead
