Need Lithium Battery for Cruis'n Exotica (year 2000)

Postby joblo » Sat May 25, 2019 7:55 pm

I purchased a second-hand CRUIS'N EXOTICA driving game a few weeks ago.

All went well until the HIGH SCORES section started going "buggy".

I checked the board part that was related to HIGH SCORES (designation U26, Part# 5347-16378-00, High Score Memory Backup Module) and when I pulled it out, noticed a lot of the pins were crooked/messed up (see pics below).

I tried to straighten them and re-insert, but still didn't work well.

Does anyone know where I can get this replacement battery piece, or equivalent?

Thanks in advance!

If you look for M48Z128-85PM1, you can find a few places where to order.
Here is a metasearch showing stock at utsource which appears to be true when you click on it. I also found some on ebay.
https://www.digipart.com/part/M48Z12885PM1
I bet the 70ns part M48Z128-70PM1 would be a direct replacement too but don't take my word for it.
Road Show, Last Action Hero, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Stargate, F14 Tomcat (in restoration)
