SOLD // Car enthusiasts: my 1966 Olds Convertible for sale

Postby RedFive » Sat Jun 09, 2018 2:23 pm

EDIT 2018-06-27: Car is sold.
---------------------------------

Over the years, I have discussed old cars with many MAACA members. I thought I would post this here, in case someone is interested, or knows someone who could be interested.

I am selling my 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. I will paste the kijiji text below. Small discount for MAACA members, of course, and also small discount for quick & easy sale (to qualify, the sale should involve as little tire kicking and wasted time as possible).

Asking $12,500 on kijiji.

Will make a small donation to MAACA if the car sells here.

Car has original 330 c.i. motor, original Jetaway automatic transmission (professionally rebuilt in 2016), 12 bolts differential, power steering, power brake, power window, power top. Top was installed in 2013. I bought the car in 2014 and has been in my heated garage since then.

Car came with a lot of trim parts to make a 442 clone. Those parts were never installed on this car and are included with the car.

Note: the pictures with the top up show a different set of tires (with the black lettering). I have changed the tires since then. See the pictures with the top down (tires have white raised letters). Those are the tires that come with the car. I bought them new in 2015 and I have put less than 2000km on the car since then.

Not a show car, all is working but paint has a few chips and a few bubbles. Interior is in awesome shape. Dash pad is not cracked (often cracked, not this one). Underside is clean. Glasses are not cracked. AM radio is not working, a newer am/fm/cd player is hidden in the glove box.

Note: Les pneus datent de 2016.

I won't lie.... I have looked at this ad almost every day. I beat myself up for spending on pinball... I could be driving this sweet ride. Especially today with the gorgeous weather....

Someone will have fun with this. Such a beauty.
Now playing in Sparky's Power Station: Way too much shit...
