OT (Long Shot): Anyone have old BIX modules for sale ?

Post by Steph »

Only old farts like me who did computer network wiring in the 90's would know what a BIX block is...

[ BIX wiring was Bell/Nortel-developed wiring system used in virtually all networking closets in the 90's and 2000's. ]

I'm looking for a specific 6 x RJ45 port module (see pic)

If anyone has anything like this, or knows where I could find some,
please let me know.

Merci
Steph

Yes, that's EXACTLY the one I'm looking for

6 Port Bix Connector
SKU: NPNTBIX46DI

... but not for that price !

More often than not, this stuff is thrown out by the bin-full
by companies updating their data centres .

I got my whole setup ( 3rd picture in the 1st post) for $20 .

I found a guy on Kijiji in Toronto selling them for $7 each,
... but he won't ship ! (...despite me offering twice the cost of shipping ... )

I would need 2 or 3 modules to complete my setup.

Thanks,
Steph
