SpecialPinball: Software programmer wanted!

Postby PinGeorge » Fri Mar 15, 2013 10:59 am

Hello guys!

for my future high classic & innovated prototype pinball projects i´m looking for a talented software developer & programmer. The basic is a non commercial and non profit background, but if there is a guy who is interested, he can get a second proto game for his collection. Everyone, who is talented and has a professional background, is welcome to talk with me.

George, why don't you make it an open source project? You may get more involvement that way. If someone was to do it by themselves then I can see the need for some kind of 'payment' for it, and your offer seems generous, however I think you may get more traction with a open source type project where people can contribute as they can. I for one can certainly help, but I wouldn't be able to commit the time to the full development by myself.

Yes, you are right. I was also thinking about an open source, perhaps this solution would be for best. But first i must make here an update about my results from today. Since three months i have a german software specialist, but this guy has his own company and business and only a small free time for a help. But now, today, he gives me the information that he has a young talented guy, also a pinball collector, who can help me in many directions. This young guy has much more time and he will give me all the help, which i need. In short time we discuss about all, also about a possibility for a open source solution. If i have more informations, i will give an update about the progress.

But also there is another reason, why i must think about a open source solution. Today i announced on my homepage, that i go out of my public work around my pinball projects! More about this i write now on the WB - project topic.
