I need help picking up and moving a Super Chexx to a basement

Postby rockstead » Tue Apr 05, 2016 11:17 am

I will be picking up a Super Chexx in Blainville and bringing it to Pincourt, I have a Grand Caravan Mini Van or I can rent a U-Haul.

After we pick it up, we would need to bring it down to my basement, my door frame I about 31 1/2", I'm not sure if we can squeeze it by?

You would have to know how to disassemble the Super Chexx if necessary.

I'm willing to pick you up and bring you home if necessary.

I am very open to any advice you have, message me offers please.

Assembled Dimensions 60" x 30" x 54"

so you should be ok in the door. Now measure your van. oh and it's 220lbs so not that heavy.

With the seats stowed, the height from floor to ceiling is 47", I'm guessing it could fit if placed lying down but I would be worried about damaging it, but I have zero experience in doing this.

I wouldn't be overly concerned but the Super Chexx will be in mint condition, so I don't want to be the first to damage it.

It comes apart fairly easy, there are three or four connectors and four bolts that hold the top on.

I have to take them apart almost every time I move one and I have a truck with a liftgate. LOL

I guess maybe I don't need help, I've heard from several people (including you) that it's easy to unscrew the 4 bolts and remove ribbon cables and should not be an issue placing in my Dodge Grand Caravan.
