I would like to suggest renaming this thread to "Where can I buy..." or "Where in Canada can I buy..."

I love the concept of this thread. I love that the point of it is to keep our purchases within Canada. However, none of the places listed so far apply to me. I would like to see more basic stores and contacts in here. What do you think?

Here is an example, I need a hex standoff post for my game. I also need SEMS Phillip head screws for this same hex post. Are these available at Fastenal? Where can I go in Ottawa to buy these?

Check the spaenaur.com catalog for fasteners. They can order it for you at the Tool & Equipment store.

Let me know what SEMS screw you need I might have them. Once you get a box it’s a lifetime supply.

I’ve also found Phillips screws on Amazon but their search sucks.

Thanks everyone. I did a lot of digging last night. The p/n is 4006-01017-06 which can be found at Marco, but I won't be ordering it from there. I'm sure I can find it at Fastenal and now I know the screw measurements (Machine screw 6-32 thread x 3/8" long with phillips round head and external tooth lockwasher.) Looks like Marco has changed it from a round head to a pan head. I guess round ones are getting harder to find or something.

The standoff I was able to find at Digikey. https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/deta ... ehr4m4t1AA It's almost an exact match. I need to order some fuses and a battery case, so I'll probably put together a small order and include it in the order.

Try searching www.hillmangroup.com to find the part number. Then search that part number on amazon.ca. Got lots of Phillips fasteners that way.

That works too, that seller seems to have Bally warning decals - I can use those as well. I'm missing some target decals for The Shadow mini playfield, but mostly, I will want to redo the cabinet decals at one point. They are in great shape, but I'm going to restore a bit more. Too much of a great game not to give The Shadow the full treatment!

Also looking for the mini playfield black plastic shroud part, but that one simply does not exist any longer. Could cut, heat and bend some plastic sheets - but that won't do. Maybe I can glue it back and add material, I won't know until I've take it apart.
