I find pachinkos really aesthetically pleasing, but in the end they are just gambling machines. It's like having slot machines / one armed bandits in your game room. You really have to enjoy their aesthetics because in the end you're just playing pretend casino, right? ;)
The pachinkos there span 1964 through to 2015, and I really love the evolutions and history of them.
The Arrangeballs offer a much more discrete gaming experience (they spit out winning coins, have only 16 balls to shoot per game) and can actually be playing head-to-head against someone else.

I wish I had space for my Smart Ball machine next to the pachis, but that beast has to live at a friend's place.

It's tempting but it would require rethinking the entire basement. My other hobby is collecting art and art books, and I'm currently using both sides of that wall to hang things. The other walls in the basement are packed with the same density, just bookcases of art books and framed art....
