Fantastic variety of pins, Adriano.

I mix up my DMDs, SS and EMs with high hopes that guests will venture out of their pinball comfort zone and explore different game eras. Plus I like the contrasting shapes, art and gameplay; more dynamic experience.

Getting really tired of the pink insulation though. Hope to get framing started this fall.

Having a Superman myself and thinking of Stargate as my next pin, I'll sincerely appreciate if you can give me your thoughts on the Stargate. I know that it's difficult to compare to an older, wider machine as Superman, but I guess that you can 'relate' to both machines. Thank you in advance

The way to beat the game is to ramp up the super jackpot bonus over time, collect the 3X playfield transporter award and immediately start the Eye of Ra wizard mode. The timeout on the 3X multiplier stops counting in a wizard mode.

Although my list of games has changed since that 2010 list, I still have Stargate. Not going anywhere. Great, challenging pin, imho. Superman is long gone, but not because of gameplay ... because it never really worked for me, darnit! Fussy Atari. I gave up. Would appreciate actually putting some play time on a working Superman.

Stargate is a bumpy pin with lots of kickers and if you play it the first time and a while after that, you are excited a lot about the action. Two wizard modes are a lot to go for, but they don't make a game. What breaks the game for me after three months is that this bumpy action is not comparable to a good flow that comes from loops, ramps and shots that feed each other.

Thank you for your feedback. I'll start making room for it and saving to buy one in the near future For Superman, I bought it 17 years ago with a 'minor' issue which is that it doesn't get in the start mode for a while...so you wait until the machine decides to get ready (usually at least a good 10 minutes). Therefore, I have to admit that I still find interesting the dynamics, the objectives (S-U-P-E...) and the wide body. No one has been able to solve the mystery and repair it yet. You're absolutely right, being an Atari doesn't help as the references are limited and it's a 'blast from the past'. Cheers
