This project is coming to an end :-)
Now fully working 100%
The usual ... the seller didn't told me about missing sounds, a trace was broken on the sound board.
Maybe that's why he accept to lower the price when i asked for ;)

Few switch adjustment to do and it's done :)

Games are very fast, brutal and furious, similar to Flash Gordon !!
Un gros merci a Luc pour les roms car j'en ai sauté un en le mettant a l'envers

With all the tweaking, mods and adjustment i made, the game is not brutal that much. ( But yeah it is bitch sometimes !! ) It help a lot for the ballflow and making shots more precise.

Already made a very respectable 3,440,460 Certainly the highest score i ever made in that title.

Home made plastic protector where the ball usually brake the plastic set.

All transparent plastics are home made with polycarbonate, they won't brake anymore.
The originals and repros are weak and badly designed.
I modify them slightly for the ball not to pass over the eight ball bonus, the ball is captured 100% for the bonus even if it come very fast.
Made plastic protector where the plastic set broke usually and specially near the 1 ball target.
Inline transparent plastics adjusted for the ball not to bump on the flippers, it make a lot better ball flow and more precise shots, more enjoyable games.
All inserts were sanded to remove cracks, rescreened and reglue, they are shinny transparent now.
SDB 5v and HV restored with new parts, all cold solders reflow, cap kit for the sound boards.
EBD is very now reliable and very enjoyable :)

Incandescent make too much heat on the playfield, LED's are coming soon :FP:
I can't leave the game ''on'' more than 30 minutes

I have owned 3 EBD. It's a great game... but then Robert introduced me to the original Eight Ball and I fell in love with that one ;) it's a bit simple and certainly not as cool as EBD, but the heart wants what the heart wants.
I still miss it sometimes... but when Centaur came, something had to leave.

And I only have a Fathom cabinet... and now playfield. :D

LED's received and installed. I bought the super flux led from comet, warm white optix.
They react the sameway as incandescent, they fade in and fade out, not ghosthing, no strobing.
No need to change the lamp driver boards or to buy multiple adapters, i find this is the best and easy solution
at a reasonnable cost. I put leds only on ''balls numbers'' and ''deluxe'' to save heat from the playfield.
Because of the lamp pcb the heat cannot escape from the playfield and it come very hot.

They are more brigther than the incandescent and burn my eyes in 3 minutes. I put a small white paper sticker over them and now the brightnest is the same. The difference is imperceptible.

Now i'm more comfortable to keep the machine running hours without overheating the newly restored playfield :)
