Got em. But they have 4 coils. Not a huge mod. I can send a unit your way if you want it.

You're the man Ian!
I'll gladly measure them up against the in-line version and see if I can modify it.

Thank you
Adriano

So.... it seems the missing coils have been located :)
The were left on the harness when it was removed. Emergency averted; but thank you to all who stepped up to assist!

I haven't done too much in the last few days. Glued in some triangular wooden bracing into the cabinet bottom, fitted a new channel into the repro backglass and test fitted it.
I should have my new ground liner for the backbox next week courtesy of Alain. Thank you sir!!

Also, today I got some good stuff in the mail for me and a few other Fathom owners here :)

I can see your new Heat Wave in the background . . . weird thing about your old one that I now have -- it has no brown sand on the beach! Looks like the screeners missed a colour, it is transparent and the white background shows through for those spots!

Your Fathom project is very cool, thanks for the updates.

Very odd!
I think that example also had the reverse paint pattern on the head, if memory serves.
My current paint job is not original though. It's been touched up and shellacked :(
This one will get a new paint job eventually.

The panel seems a little bit tight in height, did you find it hard to install ?

You guys need to start producing some of these pieces. I could use 3 grounding panels and more cabinet bottoms/head back panels :jumpy :bananadance

It was a little tight, but still worked. No problems.

Last night I put in the light panel and some of the locking hardware. Everything seems to fit pretty well.

I did a little more last night. Started stapling in the new ground braid and the lower harness as well. I still have to re-run a few wires here but it will be easier to see once everything is in the correct place.

I also installed the first score display and noticed it was a little too low compared to the windows in the backglass.
I realized my first problem is that my backglass lift channel is 3/16" instead of 1/8" so it is not sitting as low as it should. Also, my light panel may be set a little low also. Together this makes about 1/2" difference. I will get a new lift channel in Allentown next weekend. Then I can accurately measure how much I need to raise the displays. There is plenty of room to play on the light panel.
