Darksoft Multi kits

Postby Mrhide » Tue Mar 06, 2018 8:48 pm

So this is an informative thread on a few of the Darksoft Multikits.

they are "mods" to a real system to allow you to play multiple, of not all, of the games on a specific real hardware so there is no emulation: it's the real deal.

First is the CPS2 system seen here with board A in black and board B in blue. The B board is "the game" while the A board is "the motherboard".

Nice system with RCA output (QSOUND)

And here is the Darksoft kit installed as a "B" board with a Sd card and a display and menu where you can select the game to load.

comparing it to the empty other B board I have:

Then there's a Taito F3 system, very similar but the games are "meh" to me ...remakes of classics.

And finally, the one I received this week ! the Neo Geo one
