Repainting KISS

Postby twnotter » Tue Sep 18, 2018 11:35 am

Good Day all,

I know there are quite a few of you guys on here that repaint cabs regularly. What type of paint do you use, spray can, or automotive?

For anyone that has repainted KISS specifically, what orange did you use? I see on pinside that the color match is allis chambers, tractor paint, I can't find a source in Canada.

Thanks in advance.

I like this one: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/DC_DE1607

I used that color before. Looked great. Chevrolet engine orange-red.
Now playing in Sparky's Power Station: Way too much shit...

Thanks Sparky!

I will probably go with the duplicolor as I can probably get it locally.

Has anyone used spray can to spray the entire cabinet? I do have access to a spray booth and gun. I would guess that the spray gun does a better job.
