That's the dream

Also, for your issue - I think I read on the HardTops thread that you should pop the rollover insert & re-seat it slightly higher to prevent hang. Too much work IMHO.
Nice dream, sounds like you have a good chance of success. :)

I definitely won't be popping out the rollover insert! It might help but only if the hole was a very close fit, at least near the bottom edge. If there is a gap then this happens. Target height is correct, but the space between target and edge of protector leaves a hollow.

I'd take a razor knife to just the front incline of the cutaways that the ball is prone to catch on. Shave a tiny tiny low angled bevel and and it should solve the problem.

Yeah I thought of that, afraid to try it though. I think it should come from the factory with a tapered edge.

Could you put and edge using a Dremel router of some kind, with the help of a custom jig you'd built? Of course, testing on a piece of plastic first. If would leave a clean edge you could polish afterwards.

I think they should offer premium ones hand-tapered. People would pay the extra $20 or whatever

Thank you! I have OCD when it comes to playfields. :)

Black Knight 2000 is looking very nice indeedy. It's magnet hold fine through the protector.

I should note that of all the machines, only a single switch needed to be adjusted - Rollergames kickback. Everything else works perfectly.

Steel wool. I buff all metals with it. For stubborn dirt/rust I use a brass wirewheel.

Finally finished installing the protector on Rollergames. It needed a hole drilled for the magnet. Made a nice hole with the dremmel - will make adjustments as the protector settles.

Plays beautifully. OMG. I can't even...
