High Speed - Pop bumper waterslide decals

Postby OTTOgd » Sun Apr 01, 2012 5:26 pm

Replacement pop bumper caps for HS are like hen's teeth and no repros as of yet, so I made my own version using translucent red and water slide decals.

Not as fancy or thorough as a mwong tute but good enuf.

Art file is attached as a pdf. I have an extra waterslide decal sheet with 8 pop bumpers if anyone needs them. PM me.

Let the decal float and carefully float the pop bumper cap into place. Mess it up ... submerge, and place it again. Carefully lifted out of the water and very gently dab the decal down with a damp paper towel. Then very carefully gently rubbed out the wrinkles.

Same process with the W logo. I used tweezers to position the semi-submerged decal.

Looks good to me!

GAH!

Really looking forward to the new CPR High Speed playfield.

Hobbies stores are also a good place to find it, especially if you are in a hurry or just want a small amount.

Instructions often suggest using a pre-application and / or post-application fixative, but for most situations, these are not necessary.
