Hey guys,
I have been curious for some time now about 3D printers. I haven't had much of a chance to do extensive researching. What do some of you experts recommend?
I have to build stuff for work and for fun. Let me know what you think...

Re: 3D printers... recommendations?
Resin printer will give you the most precise and detailed prints but are limited in size. Filament printers are mor versatile but the prints need finishing (sanding/acetone) to get them smooth. My printer is resin. Pics show what you can get for details.

Yeah, I really just need to print out decorative gears for now. Nothing big. Like 8cm in diameter. I was just wondering if it would be worth while doing it myself. They are for award plaques. I have 2-3 examples made out of brass. I rather use plastic and produce a few.

I've been happy with my cheapo Creality Ender. Did a few minor upgrades but it has survived my kids abusing it for a year now. I'd probably go with a larger one next time but stick with Creality.

Yep comme Ottogd mentionne Prusa i3 mk3s est ce quil y a de mieux et tu ne sera pas déçu.. la différence de prix vaux la peine a long therme.. Bonne chance et amuse toi!!!

After research and picking a couple of members brains, I bought an Ender 3 V2 on Amazon Day. Was supposed to be for pinball mods but still filling grandkid and kid's orders for cool things lol. Having a blast with it and easy great prints out of the box without too many mods ......but can be modded also just like pins!
